it is a little more rundown than as depicted in picture, the fan was barely working, hence was kinda stuffy in the afternoon, as the weather turns as cool as 21degrees at night, we had no problem sleeping, the location is very convenient a literal 5 minutes down the road into the main market area of ubud.

Lizards and roaches all over the place, very much in the interior by the forest area. Owners were helpful and patient / warm. Limited breakfast choices, was sick of eggs and pancakes.

Die Lage ist zentral und doch sehr ruhig, da sie zu einer Schlucht hin mitten im Zentrum von Ubud liegt. Die kleinen Häuschen liegen in einer gepflegten Grünanlage. Ein gutes Frühstück wurde ohne Buchung gratis angeboten. Vom Bus Terminal kann man in 10 Minuten die Unterkunft zu Fuß erreichen. In der kleinen Zufahrtsstraße gibt es gute, günstige lokale Restaurants und Geschäfte, während auf der Hauptstraße eine touristische, teure Infrastruktur vorherrscht.

Lecuk Inn is a very basic homestay, which is fine and I was not expecting high standards, as relected by the price, but the room I was given was not as I was led to believe from how it's described/illustrated on the website. I may have just been unlucky (as a solo traveller, the room was round the side, not facing the ravine views) but it was very basic indeed (nothing like any of the pictures given for reference on the website) The bed had clean sheets, but the mattress was poor (sagged badly and was lumpy) There were no toiletries as listed on the website, no touches such as bedside lights, mirrors, dressing tabel/desk or bottled water as implied by the photographs. A kettle was provided on request. Obviously, expensive toiletries are not expected, I didn't need the desk and a standing fan was fine instead of a ceiling fan, but if things are listed on the website, they ought to be provided ie maybe just a simple bar of soap? The location is good (although the mosquitoes are more prolific than anywhere else I encountered) and the owner was friendly so maybe I was just unlucky not to get one of the other rooms,after all the view of the ravine seems to be a major attraction.

Loved the location and the vibe of the place. The rooms are facing the wild forest where birds and other creatures like to hang out. You feel immersed in nature right in the center of Ubud. Rooms are very basic. Don't expect more than a bed and towels. Great experience overall.

Would stay there again any time!

We booked a basic accommodation, and this was what we got. Basic comfort, but clean. The room did not have air-con, but a fan - we appreciated this. It would have been even better if it would have been a ceiling fan. The warm water did not work, but that was no issue with the hot weather - we did not even bother to complain. And I have never slept better in any hotel bed, but often worse. Furthermore, the venue is very quiet - specifically if taking into account that it is 5 minutes by foot from the centre of Ubud (temple, market, palace). The service was superb, the host and his family super friendly and supportive. We got support with finding a driver for day trips, and good advice for real local food. In summary: would we stay there again? Any time! Would we recommend it to others? It depends. If you cannot enjoy a stay without at least 3-star comfort, TV and other comfort of that kind: stay away! If you enjoy a good night's sleep in a basic accommodation, and love being cared for by your host and his family: this is the place for you!

The room was basic but clean and we loved the location (I t’s just a few minutes walk away to the main roads of Ubud). The WiFi was not very strong, but worked just fine for emails, maps, messaging, etc. If you need a good signal for working, there are plenty of cafes close by with great connection speeds. Breakfast on the porch overlooking the garden was an added bonus and a great way to start our day. If we ever find ourselves in Ubud again, we hope to stay at Lecuk! It is not a good place to meet other travelers though so if you’re looking to meet people I’d suggest staying elsewhere.

値段相応

部屋自体は広いですが何も無いです。ティッシュ、冷蔵庫、エアコン、ゴミ箱、歯ブラシ、とにかく何もありません。 しかしこの価格で従業員の人達も非常に親切に接してくれるし、簡単ではあるけれど朝食も付くし個人の見解が分かれるところでしょう。

Du får hvad du betaler for. Venlig mand der ejer stedet. Godt sted hvis du skal have en hurtig og billig overnatning. Anbefales ikke hvis man skal være der i mere end to overnatninger. Vær opmærksom på at der kun er aircondition på nogle af værelserne. Placering er god og meget centralt. Gåafstand til restauranter og indkøbsmuligheder.

Man får som man betaler. Vi havde mindre end 12 timer på “hotellet”, derfor var vi ganske fint tilfredse. Vi havde ikke forventet mere af det. Ville nok nærmer kalde det “homestay”.
