We stayed just one night and ate dinner st the restaurant, which was very nice. The room was a bit tight on space though, and stuffy, we had to leave the window open at night to get air in the room.

Rooms quite small and bathroom quickly steams up as not well-ventilated. Spa not included in room price despite advertising as a spa hotel. However: Friendly check-in. Comfortable beds. Really nice breakfast. Free coffee/tea during day.

Great hotel with great food

Surprisingly great hotel in the middle of pretty much nowhere. Big downside: pool access is NOT included even though the hotel has it - it's a separate 295 SEK fee on top of the room rate.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Starby Hotel. Our room was clean and quiet, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional and the food ( we only ate breakfast there) was very good. The back garden area is beautiful and a lovely place to sit and have breakfast or a cocktail. It is worth noting that the accommodations are much more of a "motel" than a "hotel" and the rooms have the feel of a motel with a bit of paint and polish applied. Quite comfy and clean, but a distinctly different feel than one expects in a "hotel". The location is great and it is an easy and short walk into the downtown and is only minutes to the castle and also has a good grocery store right across the street. Overall a definitely positive experience and would recommend.

Der Wellnessbereich ist großartig. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und bemüht es dem Gast so gemütlich wie möglich zu machen. Das Essen ist fantastisch und die Bedienung sehr professionell. Selbst unser 2jähriges Kind war willkommen. Wir lieben dieses Hotel einfach! :-)

Jag bokade ett tvåbäddsrum på Hotels.com och ringde hotellet direkt för hundtillägg. När jag kommer dit var det en säng(två hopsatta) inget kylskåp på rummet(fanns i en entré 150 m bort) (svårt att öppna fönstret) inget AC utan golvfläkt. Det rum jag fick var i allt ett trestjärnigt rum, inte fyrstjärnigt! Väldigt dyrt för ett trestjärnigt rum. Förklarinfg att inget kylskåp för att det var hundrum och för det betalar jag ändå mer. Spa betalas extra för. Det bra nu:Vid anmärkning var personalen vänliga och löste det de kunde och restaurangen och frukost var fantastiskt bra. Fint att vara i det gröna, stor gräsmatta (park).

Ett fantastiskt hotell med perfekt service! Rummet var rymligt, sköna sängar! Lite varmt på rummet men ändå bra! Personalen var supertrevlig! Maten var mycket god och frukosten hade ett bra utbud!
