Lovely apartment, clean with some refreshment’s ready for our arrival. Excellent location within easy walking distance of seafront and shops, restaurants etc. P2 parking on street directly outside apartment and P3 on parallel street below. Really appreciated the Dolce Gusto coffee machine! Fantastic - had a great time - fully recommended!!

Great location if you want to walk the town. The apartment has a lot of room and beds were comfortable. Very noisy. You could hear your neighbors talking and hear people above use the bathroom. Everyone slams the door over and over to get the main door shut downstairs.

Without any advanced notice, there was considerable construction work that was being done on the apartment. The workers cracked the window in one of the bedroom and then asked to come in to put a film over it. We contacted the person in charge. He apologized, had the cleaning people come in and clean and left us a bottle of champagne, which was kind. HOWEVER, the work continued for the entirety of our stay - was extremely loud - we had to leave one morning because it was so disruptive. The worst part was that workers just walked into the apartment several times without knocking. We were very uncomfortable with this and let the people in charge know. We have asked for a refund and have been left without any communication or refund. This was extremely unacceptable.

Hands down one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at as a family. The amenities were fantastic, the beds were so comfortable, the sink in tub a luxury and the location was close to everything! We can not say enough!!! Perfection!!

Perfect apartment for our family vacation in Iceland. A few suggestions to improve would be larger mugs as the ones provided are very small and a blind to the bathroom window. These have already been made in the guest comments book. Also a small safe would have been great to store valuables

Lovely place , newly remodeled and very very clean. The only thing (my fault for not reading the description clearly)was we are a family of 6 using one bathroom. The washer and dryer were blessings!

The 3 bedroom apartment is perfectly located within few minutes walk to the waterfront in one direction and the bustling part of Reykjavik in the other. It is located within a building with other units above. The front door is shared, go up a flight of narrow stairs, and first unit is the one. It’s older property but upgraded inside. Spacious and comfortable for a family( us= 2 adults and 3 kids under 10). Microwave, dishwasher, stovetop, and the Nespresso machine was a nice added touch. The owner was very responsive and accommodating to an early check in at our request. Street Parking is available right up front (tight spaces for US standards) for a fee during designated hours. We found the parking meter a bit challenging to understand (couldn’t find the English button if there was one). Overall very pleasant stay and a great way to start off our trip!!

Great location. Very clean and well laid out. Only issue we had as we were travelling with children was the noise. Walls seems very thin and noise from upstairs was quite loud during the night. Also some building work going on next door which is loud during the day and one of the neighbours seemed to be doing DIY in the evening time so drills and hammers banging until after 9pm. No reflection on the property or owner as not in their control but only issue with theatre row
