The condo is dated. There were no sponges or dish soap so we had to get that ourselves. Also, both showers are stuck in shower mode, so you can’t really take a bath. No laundry machines in the unit.

Lækkert og nyrenoveret hus. Virkelig god plads i huset og smagfuld indretning. Beliggenheden er i toppen, og Siesta Key Beach er ubeskrivelig. Så fantastisk en strand. Rengøringen var ikke helt i top, men det klarede personalet med det samme, på anmodning. Alt i alt en positiv oplevelse.

Beautiful villas!

These villas are very luxurious and super close to the beach. This was are second stay this year in the villas. First was Villa 1 and second was Villa 3. We prefer Villa 1 but weren't disappointed with 3. In Villa 3 the beds could be more comfortable. Kids beds were very noisy and uncomfortable. All in all we love it here and will absolutely come back!

Perfect Family Stay

My Husband, daughter and I rented this villa for a week. The unit was completely renovated and beautiful. Steps to the beautiful beach! The weather wasn't great but the stay was lovely. We will be visiting this property again.

We had a great stay at Island House beach resort. There were 6 couples some were placed in the condos and others in the villas. Accommodations were great. The beach was beautiful and the pool was awesome. The Siesta key village was a short drive and there was great restaurants and small shops. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful experience

The villa we stayed in was was private, updated, clean and very comfortable. We were very happy there and would definitely stay again. The resort is centrally-located, with restaurants and shopping nearby. And the private beach... just breathtaking! The grounds were extremely well-kept, from the grass to the pool, from the grills to the beach. Very highly recommended! A bit of advice for those with late flights who need a late check-in: the main office closes at 5. There is a sign that will instruct you to go straight to your unit. The list of units is located in a different area of the office windows than this sign. While I consider this smart for security purposes, we didn’t see the list at first and thought we wouldn’t be able to get in, as we didn’t know which unit was ours. So don’t worry- just take a look around. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend without reservation!

Nice villa on the beach

We stayed in villa 9. We arrived after the office closed but there was a note on the door that informed us which villa we were in and to proceed directly to the villa. The doors were unlocked which was a huge relief. We had a full size kitchen with everything we needed including pots, pans, wine opener, bowls, silverware, etc. We went to the front office the next morning for beach towels. The beach was so close to the villas and included an outside shower to get any sand that was trapped in our shoes off before going inside. The staff so incredibly friendly and even brought beach chairs that others left behind down to our little spot on the beach for us. We also were provided an umbrella which helped keep the sun off our toddler as she made sand castles. Also having the private beach made it feel like our own little slice of paradise since there was so much room for everyone. All in all we definitely we be returning in the future.

Good but one downfall

Overall a great stay. Close to the beach and local shopping and dining. Beach was beautiful and we loved the private aspect. Condo was nice and comfy. One bad thing was the GINORMOUS ROACH that decided to scamper across the room!! Blah.

Beautiful vacation villa only steps from the beach! It should be fully advertised this is a condo rental and there is no lobby - no hotel " services". It was dark and confusing upon arrival after the office was closed! Also NO wifi - that would have been enough to stay elsewhere if I had known! Otherwise- GREAT place !!!

Unit was adequate. Some basic staples should have been provided, i.e. dish towels, dish soap (all we had was for the dishwasher so to clean pans, coffee pot, etc we were out of luck). I paid for an oceanfront room which, as loosely defned we received, but it was set back well behind other units. I would not return to this unit given a choice.

Comfortable and clean

Stayed in a villa which was clean and spacious. It was fully furnished with everything we could need. The property is well maintained. Next time I'll stay in one of the back villas where it's quieter. Keep in mind each villa and condo is individually owned and therefore vary in terms of furnishings and renovation.

Comfort on Siesta Key

We had a lovely stay at the Island House. My husband and I rented unit 11 South. Fully furnished, clean and spacious 2 br 2 Ba with lovely furniture and every appliance you would need in the kitchen. Perfect view of the beach and sunsets. Lounge chairs are available at the beach and shuffleboard too. Large heated pool but no hot tub.We did not interact with the staff other than picking up and dropping our keys which was efficient. We would return.
