Great Place!

The property is super clean, breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed having coffee on the huge screen porch that looks out over the marsh. We took advantage of the owner’s offer to use their bikes, and that was a fun way to see the town. We highly recommend Darien Waterfront Inn.

We loved it here.. The B&B is a lovely, bright & cheerful, home with each room beautifully decorated. There are two porches with comfortable furniture to relax and enjoy the scenery of the marsh. The location allows for walking around the town as well as to the Fort. Planning to return next trip north.

In Darien for a wedding, decided to treat ourselves too. Beautiful location and room, easy access for aging mother-in-law on first floor, we had an upstairs room. Peaceful screened in porches up and down. Breakfast each day was very good. Already booked for later this year for upcoming trip south.

What a lovely place to stay in coastal Georgia. The screened in porches offer a wonderful view of the marsh habitat so prevalent in the region. The sun was shining, birds flitting about and singing, delicious breakfasts, attractive and comfortable rooms…,the full package!

Our B&B was new construction, beautifully furnished and squeaky clean. What a treat! A large backyard overlooked hundreds of acres of marshland, including the river which brought in all the fresh seafood. Our two breakfasts were nothing less than delicious and we look forward to our return👍.

Darien GA’s BEST OF THE BEST

We found the Inn on hotels.com and it was the best we have ever stayed in, including hotels. JoAnn and Dave went above and beyond our expectations to make our time there top-notch! The Inn is clean, welcoming, and the views — breathtaking. A gourmet breakfast was served each morning, your room felt homey, bathrooms were stocked and if you stay more than two nights, fresh towels, wash rags, and hand towels are provided. The outside is welcoming and parking accommodating. Sitting is available on the front porch (rocking chairs). The porches on the back side of the Inn — assessable from your room both levels, which overlook a beautiful marsh is inviting and furnished with chairs, couches, and tables. There is also swings on the lower level outside near the marsh. We enjoyed our evening meal out there one evening — shade is provided from trees. Noise level is very minimal, everyone was very respectful of that while we were there. Brochures were located on the main floor and available for local area. Tips were welcoming on things to while there ((take advantage of these — super helpful)). Individual rooms were accessible with a key code which is provided at check-in, along with complimentary Wi-Fi code. Coffee, tea, orange juice provided with breakfast. Did we mention the host were exceptionally friendly, polite, servant-oriented! Blessings on anyone’s trip to Darien and find their stop to rest, relax, unwind, refresh and enjoy a quaint stay — choose the Darien Waterfront Inn.

My husband and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary. Our host Joann was wonderful! Our room was very clean and up to date. King size bed was so comfortable! Clean sheets and towels with extra towels in the room. I really enjoyed that it was adults only. Breakfast was delicious and so was the coffee and I am very picky about my coffee! A Great Weekend

A weekend of fishing to get away- This Inn was the perfect place! Jo Ann really keeps a clean home and the breakfast was delicious!!! Other guests that we met were just lovely and nice! 5 stars for me!!! Thank you!
