The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms were comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The staff are bilingual and helpful. The a/c worked great! The key card only allows you access to your floor, main lobby, and the pool - which was in their spa area. They also have a sauna and a steam room. Breakfast was included and was traditional and yummy.
Very clean and large room. Bathroom was clean. Only problem, no place to put shampoo inside shower. Excellent shower head. Great quality towels.
Breakfast was good. You can request latte, cappuccino and eggs. Great location. Staff was professional
Complete ignore my VIP amenities. I will be charge $30 for late check out.
In general, it was nice to stay in this hotel.

Again, if you wonder why you get that much bad reviews. Go ask your staff Roselin. She is really bad attitude, really rude to me. She wants me pay extra 30 dollars for bringing a friend to room for 1 hour. Your policy written here the room includes two guests. You can’t see??? I could say all the staff in this hotel are nice, hotel are clean they made me feel welcome. Especially the staff Cristopher, he is gentle and nice. Also all the staff in the morning, they are so nice. It is my last day in Bolivia, I am really sad and unhappy because of this reception Roselin.
I stay in this hotel, it was nice for all the moment, all the people are really friendly until I met the reception Roselin, it definitely destroyed my life, it is a nightmare. She destroyed the night with my friend. I payed for the two guests, it is clearly written in the hotel rule! When I tried to bring my friend to my room she literally said you need to pay extra 30 dollars! How? I payed already! your white paper black words written here. The price of the room is for two guests. You want another 30 dollars??? Do you still have moral standards when you do shady business?
Our flight arrived at four in the morning, and we chose this hotel because it’s lower at around 3300 m, compared to the central area of La Paz, which is about 3600 m +. He arrived to the hotel about 5 AM and they let us have a later check out which was much appreciated. The bed is comfortable and we didn’t have an opportunity to try the breakfast but overall we had a good rest.
A perfect option if you want a party hostel, less good if you want to rest at a 5 star hotel. We were on the 7th floor and a party upstairs on the 9th continued until almost 1am, with loud music coming down the open sides of the building and into our room. When I went to discuss with reception, the manager Mariana Pereira gave me the option of dealing with it or leaving the hotel (at midnight). The party upstairs probably paid the hotel a lot of money to rent the space so they didn't care about us. The pool and bathroom (we booked a more expensive suite) was nice to be fair but if a 5 star hotel doesn't let you rest, the amenities don't make any difference. We paid a lot for a nicer suite to get some rest and didn't end up sleeping even 5 hours before we had to get up. Not worth the risk if you're on a business trip or if you just want a nice rest during a holiday. Go for it if you like partying, then you can use some cool amenities then party the night away. The receptionist fobbed me off telling me they'd get back to me about a refund for that night then ignored me after I left the hotel. Top service.
I would ask the Hotel that if you are not going to honor Platinum membership don’t call yourself a VIP hotel.
It is deceptive, especially when we are coming from another country and expect certain things
Service is outstanding, even overwhelming how much staff continuously offers help and solves even the most minor needs.
Facilities beyond what you would expect for a hotel this size.
Well sized and distributed rooms. Comfy bed.
We had a gorgeous view of the La Paz landscape from our room.
The only thing that can be improved, and maybe it was only our room, there is a sewage smell at times in the bathroom, that even seeps into the room.
It is my last review for this hotel, I decided to give you a 5 stars. Of course not for the staff ROSELIN , but for everyone else in this hotel. ROSELIN was pretty rude and wanted to charge me extra 30 dollars for bring a friend visit for 1 hour. I said call your boss talk to me, she became so mean said oh my boss don’t have time. She thought she was the boss here ??? Even though I paid it, it is written here in your hotel policy. The room price include 2 guests. The staff ROSELIN is really unprofessional and mean to me. She doesn’t know the rules and she was trying to create her own rule. My whole trip in Bolivia was amazing, I stayed in hotel Mitru sol for 6 nights. Everything was great until I meet the reception this Lady: ROSELIN. She definitely destroyed my last day in La Paz, my last hour with my best friend in La Paz. Other than that the hotel is perfect, it is clean and beautiful, everyone else is nice and friendly. I recommend everyone go here.
