I did not stay at this property. I was unable find it. There is no signage of any kind. No advertising and no road signs. I received a telephone call from someone asking when I might arrive and I told her I would have to cancel. I was already more than halfway back to my home in East Helena after being advised by others not to go to the facility because of poor travel conditions (washboard, gravel roads) and a lack of convenience in general for a partially disabled person. I wish and hope I might be able to get at least some of my money refunded to me.

We used our GPS, took us right downtown Belfry, told us to turn up the street just past the bar and church. Told us we had arrived. There was no place like this anywhere in Belfry. It is a very small town, we looked all thru the town and didn't find it. Tried for a good 20 minutes. Finally drove on too Billings. Very disappointed. We'd like our money back.
We sincerely enjoyed our stay here. Finding the location was interesting. The signs are small, and yes, the turn onto a dirt road which travels next to a field is the correct direction. The location is remote, however we had good cell service and my hotspot worked perfectly. Very quiet at night and if you take the time on a clear night the stars are amazing. Did I say the stars are AMAZING! We are planning to come back here when traveling this direction.
Wonderful stay, cant wait to go back, very family orientated, close to lots of interesting things, like Yellowstone and Red Lodge, you will not be disappointed.
Liked: Friendly staff. Well equipped kitchen. No-charge to use laundry. Quiet. Cute.
Did not like the tiny bathroom. Good internet in the main building but not in my room.
Loved the room and decor, the common room and the location. However, the water went out in the morning, so no shower or flushing toilet, etc. Another guest was nice enough to share their gallon of water so there was coffee, but most guests left very early so not much mingling. The host was contacted and there were workers on-site within an hour but most of us had to leave by then. Stuff happens, but disappointing.

I want to love this place! After leaving Yellowstone its a short distance to the middle of nowhere. Great concept with community kitchen and large dining area plus relaxing couches. The room and private bathroom was very small but certainly adequate. The downside of community area was 6:30 am Sunday morning conversations loud enough to be heard in my room and the yappy dog( s). Maybe it was just my luck, but no water in the morning. Otherwise very uniquely cool place.

Great with accommodating us with our late check in. Nice place to stay, homey feeling and beautiful, absolutely beautiful views.
This is a quaint little motel that is clean and comfortable. They have a full kitchen in the main lodge that you can use for meals. The view is what makes this place amazing and like nothing else nearby.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by everything. While the rooms are small, they are very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom nicely updated. The owner and staff are really great people. I enjoyed meeting other guests in the relaxing and peaceful environment too! It's a very easy drive to Red Lodge if you want to try some great restaurants, but bringing your own groceries and making meals at the Bunkhouse is a great option too. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We stayed 4 nights unexpectedly when our car and camper broke down. Went hiking and fishing and used the full shared kitchen daily. Rooms are basic because you spend time outside and in shared lodge area. We hope to have a family reunion here!
It is out of the way, quiet, peaceful and scenic. The dirt and gravel roadways made for an interesting motorcycle ride into and out of the facility. Please remember to take food and drinks with you. There is a small bar/store about 10 miles west if you forget. The Bunkhouse has a modern family style kitchen/dinning room area with a common fridge and stove. Great staff !!!

Couldn't Stay There - Road Issues
We made this reservation online. I cannot properly review this location because we were unable to stay there because of the road leading to the address. We were attending the Bear Tooth Motorcycle Rally, and was not going to take our motorcycles down multiple newly graveled roads that kept going and going. We had to turn around, and ended up going all the way back to Cody to get a room. Please, please make it known that this is not bike friendly road. Also make it known that even thought the address states Belfry...this location is much closer to Edelweiss than Belfy.
The place is beautiful! Heather does a wonderful job on helping you find and getting Things for you.. You feel right at home. Mike Pelican is the owner and very very nice. His farming operations is right on the grounds and he explains what is going on. He took my husband around and he loved seeing the ranch. If you are looking for a nice get away and quiet surroundings this is where you need to go. Bring your own food, everything to cook with is provided. Sit out on the porch, enjoy the view or if you want the hot tub is an excellent place to relax as well. Thumbs ups! Thanks for the hospitality!
Great reception gal- friendly and efficient. Clean and spacious room. Super friendly host dog. Just adorable- coming out to greet you and also playing with our dog. Nice grassy area around the bunkhouse with a campfire ring, and lots of room to run and play with kids and dogs.

Hard to find- ok if you find it
Finding this was like a needle in a haystack. No signs. No lights (don't try to arrive at night like we did). No desk clerk (if you call, you will get their voicemail). We got lost a bit then found our way. They should tell you its 11 miles out of Belfry on a very dark dirt road. I came in late. Booked a queen bed, got a double.
