A breath of fresh air.

We stayed just one night on a fleeting motorbike tour. Plenty of secure parking for the bike and no problem with the surface. Florence is welcoming and helpful, a very interesting and talented lady. She holds one of those, nowadays, rare qualities of creative vision. I have stayed in far too many soul less, clinical lodgings that I care to mention. This being the perfect antidote. The whole house is rich with character and artistic flair. It was a mill many years ago, but has been, and is still being, lovingly fashioned into a warm and welcoming home. One of those places, I wish we had booked more than one night stay!! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with real coffee, honey and home made preserves. The town of Vic-Fezensac is a delightful ancient town with bars and eateries. We had an excellent set meal under the arches of the main square, watching the sun set over the town whilst sipping 25year old Armagnac.. I have a feeling I will be back one day..

Je chercher un lieu d’étape au calme et atypique. Pour 4 personnes le prix défi les autres établissements. certes il est rustique. Mais l’accueil a été très chaleureux, les hôtes nous on offert des boissons. Nous avons pu profiter de tout l’espace et du petit parc. Le soir nous avons pu profiter de la grande salle pour faire des jeux de société. Et au réveil le petit déjeuné nous attendait dans le petit jardin au frais.

Nuit étape très reposante, au calme et au frais dans une vieille bâtisse restaurée avec goût. La chambre est fonctionnelle, dotée d'une salle d'eau et de toilettes, le tout très propre, contrairement à ce que j'ai pu lire dans certains commentaires. Accueil cordial et discussions très sympathiques avec les hôtes. Petit-déjeuner copieux avec excellent pain du marché. Hôtesse flexible sur les horaires : merci d'avoir préparé 1/2 heure plus tôt pour vous adapter à mes contraintes de départ. J'ajoute que le prix pratiqué pour une nuit avec petit-déjeuner est très économique comparé aux autres offres dans la région. Vic-Fezensac est un joli village à découvrir pour se délasser après de longues heures de route. Je recommande chaleureusement.

Pour la nuit, j'ai pu dormir la fenêtre ouverte, (pas de moustique), mais quelques bruits de circulation au loin, heureusement j'avais mes boules quies. Matelas confortable. J'ai attendu l'heure du petit déjeuner, mais il n'y avait personne, j'ai fait le tour dans le parc et au rez-de-chaussée. Tout était grand ouvert. J'avais super faim, j'ai du me résoudre à aller à la boulangerie. Je précise qu'il n'y avait pas de mot, pour m'indiquer si quelqu'un allait revenir bientôt.

Étant de mariage dans la salle polyvalente juste à côté nous avons beaucoup appréciés le faitque ce soit juste à côté. Le fait qu'il y ait une chambre pour les parents et une pour les enfants est très confort. Merci à nos hôtes de nous avoir permis de dormir plus longtemps. Au secour désastre

Nous n’y avons pas dormi Ce n’est pas un hôtel Porte d’entrée casée qui ne ferme pas Les chambres pas de clé ( donc ouverte) Pas de chauffage ( a part un petit soufflant d’appoint à transvaser de chambre en chambre )! Nous avons réglé notre séjour à l’avance , personne ne nous a appelle pour savoir pourquoi nous ne venons pas De plus …… très sale ( toile d’araignée , croquette de chat , chat sur la table …) Que dire de plus !!!
