Convenient but basic

Location is close to the beach but not on the beach. People are friendly and accommodating, room is clean but very basic. It's close to bars which is convenient but noisy and at tge moment of my stay they were building another story and started work early in the morning so no sleeping in

Hallo zusammen, wir waren im November 2021 für 4 Übernachtungen in der Unterkunft La Chaya. Auf Grund der Lage und des äußern Charme hatten wir uns für diese Ziel auf Holbox entschieden. Anfangs waren wir von allem recht positiv überrascht. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und konnten schnell einchecken. Nach dem beziehen unserer Zimmer stellten wir schnell einige Dinge fest. Neben der schlechten Toilettenspülung und dem schlecht einzustellenden Duschwasser (nur heiß Wasser) befand sich zu dem noch ein Fitnessstudio aufm dem Dach. Hier wurde von ca. 7 Uhr bis 23Uhr trainiert und es wurde somit kaum möglich ein Auge zuzumachen… Das gesamte Personal konnte zudem auch kein Wort englisch außer der Chef der die Rezeption betreute.

Es una locacion muy favorable cerca de la playa y la plaza central, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia con hermosa vista a la playa desde la parte superior. Solo no aceptan pagos con tarjeta.

We stayed for a night there. The location is great, close to the harbour, direct access to the beach, food, shops and stores are all around. AC and fridge was in the room, great for cooling down. Internet was a little slow but understandable, just as all the other in the island. Perfect for backpacking as well. The only minus is that water came out not much for showering, was not enough to clean up after all the dirt outside.

Excelente ubicación, ya que está a una calle de la playa principal de Holbox, así como del centro de la Isla, en cuanto a las instalaciones hay cosas que mejorar, durante toda la estadía hubo una fuga en el baño.

Bonito hotel, cerca de la playa

El hotel es algo pequeño, la habitación es sencilla pero cómoda, con aire acondicionado y frigobar bastante útil, el cuarto se encontraba aseado. La ubicación es fabulosa, se encuentra a unos pasos de la playa y la vista al salir del cuarto es bellísima, está casi frente a la playa. Lo recomiendo bastante. Lo único a mejorar sería colocar unas cortinas un poco más amplias que cubran bien las ventanas y unas toallas de mayor calidad

Cute place, friendly staff, but that’s about it. Nice balcony space to relax, comfy and large bed. The bathroom is old, the showerhead needs to be cleaned/changed - taking a shower was awful. There is a gym on the roof - if your room is on the top floor you hear everything (weekends seem quiet but they started at 7AM during the week while I was there). Great rooftop with view but no shade. Don’t provide water or beach towels.

Tuvimos que salirnos a media noche de ese hotel, ya que no me dio confianza quedarme, después de que el señor de ahí nos gritoneo a mi amiga y a mi, ya que no tenían agua para bañarnos, nos dijo que si no podía hacer nada, y q si no nos gustaba que nos fueramos. Terrible de verdad, era el Cumple de mi amiga.

El lugar es increíble con una vista maravillosa . El personal muy amable . Me encanto y volvería mil veces . The owner Diego is very nice and helpful. This is a family business owned hotel and they make you feel welcomed. The Hotel has three stories with handrails not recommended for little ones. The room (#2)we were in, was great! We did not hear noises at night time. I would recommend this hotel to young adults or someone that does not want to spend to much money, this is a good place. Location is perfect! Close to the main square, but far enough from all the party.

El hotel es un muy bueno sobre todo considerando el precio, tiene una vista muy linda a la playa, una terraza con hamacas en donde puedes ver el atardecer y las estrellas. Mi unico problema fue la falta de agua caliente, pero esta a una calle de la playa, es muy limpio y muy agradable. Recomiendo mucho para parejas, y si vas el restaurante Caroma es super recomendable, esta a una cuadra.
