Personal und Check in waren sehr gut und freundlich. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und war gut. Leider können wir über die Zimmer nicht so viel gutes sagen. Alte Einrichtung, das Bad war teilweise nicht sauber und die Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht haben, war es ok. Der Anbieter sollte jedoch nachbessern.

Kein profisioneller Koch, entsprechend war die Qualität. Am 3. Tag unseres Aufenthaltes war die Küche ohne Ankündigung geschlossen. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmer waren ok.

Sehr schöne Lage im Wald- bei der Zimmeraustattung ist noch Luft nach oben; Kleinigkeiten wie zB im Doppelzimmer nur ein Zahnputzbecher, sehr dünne Kopfkissen, ein Fenster im Hotelbad ist selten, wenn es aber eines gibt, wäre ein Griff zum Öffnen wünschenswert; die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Rustig hotel op loopafstand van Freudenberg

Het Siegerland hotel is een wat gedateerd hotel waardoor de voorzieningen niet meer van deze tijd zijn. Toch ben ik positief omdat het hotel erg rustig is gelegen en de eigenaren vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam zijn. Prima voor een paar dagen Sauerland. En op loopafstand van Freudenberg waar verschillende restaurants zijn. Wel een stijle weg omhoog bij terugkomst.

Das geht besser....

....der Hinweis auf abgelaufene Lebensmittel beim Frühstück wurden kommentarlos zur Kenntnis genommen. Mein Zimmer war schlecht gereinigt mit einigen Spinnweben und Nachts konnte man jede Bewegung im Zimmer oben drüber hören... Freundlichkeit beim Personal Fehlanzeige. In Summe für mich nicht (weiter)-empfehlenswert

Voor een motorweekend twee nachten vantevoren gereserveerd, waarbij de mogelijkheid om kort vantevoren nog te kunnen cancelen was erg prettig was i.p.v. het onzekere weer. Navraag per email over stallingsmogelijkheden voor de motorfietsen werd snel positief beantwoord, en bleek in de praktijk een naastgelegen nette garagebox te zijn waar meerdere gasten ook hun motor hadden gestald. Inchecken ging vlot, maar ik was verbaasd dat de verblijfskosten meteen voldaan moesten worden. Dit had echter het grote voordeel dat uitchecken slechts het achterlaten van de sleutel inhield. Algemene inrichting van het hotel oogt oubollig maar goed onderhouden. De geboekte (goedkoopste) eenpersoonskamers bleken een tweepersoonsbed te bevatten, en waren voorzien van fris beddengoed, een donzen dekbed, en stevige maar comfortabele matras. De aanwezige flatscreen-tv bood alleen enkele Duitse satellietstations, maar de uitstekende wifi-verbinding maakte het media-onderdeel toch weer goed. Hoewel prima uitgerust (o.a. ruime kledingkast met hangers en legplanken, grote spiegel, nachtkastje met verlichting), was de kamer niet bijzonder groot. Ook de bijbehorende badkamer was wat krap, maar ook volledig ingericht, werkend, en vooral zeer schoon. De hotelkamers lijken wel wat gehorig, maar vanwege stille gasten had ik daar zelf weinig last van. Het restaurant biedt een uitgebreide smaakvolle maar weinig hoogstaande kaart. De bediening is echter vlot. En het bier op het terras smaakte prima.
