Privates Haus mit sehr netten Gastgebern

Privathaus mit 7 B&B Zimmern. Unsers lag unter dem Dach und hatte ein eigenes Bad. Alles recht klein und zum Teil renovierungsbedürftig aber für eine Nacht ausreichend. Frühstück wird frisch auf Wunsch vom Hausherren und seiner Frau zubereitet.

Sehr gute Lage, hervorragende Verkehrsanbindung nach Galway, Zimmer war sauber aber extrem klein, Bad auch sehr klein, aber für den günstigen Preis durchaus in Ordnung

Fuer Kurzaufenthalt ok

Leider war der Hausherr etwas durcheinander. Er hatte unsere Buchung total vergessen, dadurch bekamen wir nicht das urspruenglich gebuchte Zimmer mit priv. Bad, sondern nur ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit Bad u. WC nebenan. Dafuer hat er uns aber, ohne das wir nachfragen mussten, einen Preisnachlass gewaehrt. Auch sonst hat er sich sehr bemueht uns den Aufenthalt so angenhem wie moeglich zu machen. Sein Fruehstueck war sehr gut!

Excellent endroit

Nous avons ete charme en tout point. Accueil chaleureux, chambre simple, mais tres confortable, a proximite du centre ville (10 min en voiture). A cote d un parc pour faire de belles promenades. Tres bon dejeuner irlandais: oeufs saucisses, jambon, toast, jus, cafe, the, fruits... Merci beaucoup Mike

Etablissement bien situé, possibilité d'aller en ville en bus, arrêt juste à côté. Très confortable, excellent accueil et gentillesse du propriétaire.

Nice clean, comfortable house with no frills.

Lovely clean modern house. I booked a single and although the room was small the bed was a small double and very comfortable. Shower room a bit small but perfectly adequate.Breakfast was good and freshly cooked with toast but no yogurt or brown bread on offer. On the down side there was no tea making facilities in room. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return.

The proprietor was very nice and obliging. We had to leave early for a flight and would miss breakfast. He offered to make us sandwiches to bring with us. The hotel was very clean, and the regular breakfast was excellent. However, we had the family room and it was extremely small. There was room for the beds and not much else. Very little room to move around. Additionally, the shower stall was very small.

Уютный семейный отель

Нас обслуживали милые и доброжелательные люди - хозяин отеля Михаэль и его сын Роберт. Несмотря на наше плохое знание английского, были достаточно терпеливы и внимательны к нам. Михаель и Роберт помогали со звонками в службу такси и в туристические центры, отслеживали по нашей просьбе прогноз погоды, советовали, где можно хорошо провести вечер. Каждый день в номере было прибрано. Очень богатый и вкусный завтрак. Единственный минус - несколько тесные габариты самого номера, туалета и душевой кабины. Отель находится далеко от центра. Мы в основном пользовались услугами такси, поскольку на троих это было не очень дорого. Хотя от отеля в центр города в определенные часы можно доехать и на автобусе.

Schönes kleines Haus, sehr kleines Zimmer mit innliegendem Bad, aber alles sauber und ordentlich und wir haben gut geschlafen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier kann man guten Gewissens buchen.

Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und hatten wegen den Bewertungen schon Vorurteile. Aber wir wurden von einem sehr hellen Haus mit freundlicher Atmosphäre überrascht. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte eine super Ausstattung. Das Badezimmer hatte eine Dusche mit Warm-kalt Regelung.(was man in B&Bs kaum findet). Das Frühstück war für ein bed ans breakfast auch okay. Die Umgebung war klasse mit schönen Stränden und Wiesen. Sauberkeit auch OK, kleine Mängel die auch in jedem Haushalt zu finden sind. Der junge Mann ist wirklich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem super, wir kommen wieder.

Great hosts!

The hosts were wonderful. They were there to answer our questions and served a wonderful full Irish breakfast. If it were just for their hospitality, I would give 110% to this review. The downsides to our stay: The room and ensuite bathroom were quite small. It was difficult moving around while we were there. The neighborhood was noisy. There were crowds of people laughing and partying well into the night.

Cute!

Very quaint little spot! The bathroom in our room was extremely small but it worked for what we needed! The owner was extremely kind and helpful. His breakfast was the best! The only thing I want to note is that a lot of people said it was within walking distance to city center and it was not, but the bus was €2 to get to town and we didn't mind too much. Also very close to Merlins Pub which was a great spot for a pint!

Decent B&B with good breakfast

We had a decent stay at the Branches. Our room was small but clean and tidy. The one thing that we didn't like was that our bathroom was not an ensuite, it was the room next to ours. When we asked if other guests would be using the bathroom, he said probably not as the other rooms all had ensuites. This was the only thing we didn't like about our stay. The breakfast was good, the price is decent, and it's about a 5 minute drive from downtown Galway. Note that parking in downtown is quite expensive (2 euro per hour) so factor that in to the price vs a downtown hotel with free parking.

Le prix est bas, mais la chambre l'est aussi. Petite (9m2) avec Salle de bain et WC sur le palier, Service du petit déj. débordé avec 6 couverts.
