Ikke mindre end fantastisk

Wow en udsigt. Hilltop er som at rykke tilbage i tiden, på en rigtig god måde. Stedet er omringet af smukke blomster, smukke huse som passer perfekt ind i området og på selve værelset er der så mange nips som gør stedet så hyggeligt. Vores værelser havde en lille Terasse med udsigt jeg ikke viste fandtes. Der er en rigtig god og ren pool med poolstole som holdes pæn ren, vi har besøgt flere hoteller i Sydafrika og denne pool har været den bedste. Wifi er super, også klart den bedste vi har oplevet. Der er ikke mange tv kanaler, men du kan i stedet låne næsten 200 klassiske film på hotellet, eller bruge wifi til iPad. Morgenmaden serveres på fælles terrassen. Dejlig morgenmad. I mens går værten rundt og hjælper hvis du har spørgsmål til alt mellem himmel og jord. Vi overnattede i 2 dage, men ville gerne være blevet længere. Det var et dejligt sted og anbefaler det til alle, både singler, familier og par.

The Hilltop offers amazing views and top notch accommodations and great service. Hennie and Magda have created an ideal stop on the Garden Route and provide outstanding hospitality.

Efficiently run, lovely garden and amazing views

Guest house is efficiently run and well organised; the rooms are really clean, well served. The garden is gorgeous with a lovely pool and the views over the bay down to Widerness are spectacular. The town of Wilderness is a 10 minute drive away, which might be seen as a downside, but then you return to a lovely haven.

Schönes Gästehaus mit tollem Ausblick

Das Gästehaus war ein echter Volltreffer, oberhalb von Wilderness gelegen und mit einem tollen Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Bucht. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, die Bungalows sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen (nur mit dem Auto erreichbar) in bester Nachbarschaft und sicher. Das Auto wird auf dem abgesperrten Hof geparkt. Essensoptionen gibt es in Wilderness (10 Minuten mit dem Auto) genügend (besonderer Tipp: das Thailändische Restaurant im Ortszentrum). Die Betreiberfamilie legt viel Wert auf Details, ist sehr freundlich und gerne auch behilflich, wenn es um die Ausflugsplanung geht. Das Frühstück war das beste auf der ganzen Reise (selbst gebackene Croissants) und im Zimmer gibt es eine große DVD Sammlung zum Ausspannen nach einem anstrengenden Ausflugstag. Eine klare Empfehlung!

End season review

We were unlucky with the weather so not able to enjoy the balcony views and pool. This combined with the fact that we were at the end of the season and the only guests meant that it was a bit different. However we were made very welcome with contact with the owners and good service all round. Exceptional views from bedroom.

Beautiful location

My wife and I stayed for two nights, and we absolutely loved it. Hennie and Magda were charming hosts, and really made an effort to make sure we were happy. The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit on the small side. The view from the room, however, is absolutely spectacular. If you're expecting the latest in fixtures and fittings in your room, you might be disappointed, but the view more than makes up for it. The guesthouse itself is beautifully furnished, and has one of the loveliest gardens we've ever seen, again with the amazing views over Wilderness. We would stay there again without any hesitation.
