Very disappointing

Barely merits being called a hotel. The bedroom had no blind, was next to a night club, the stairs to the floor below were perilous, the electrical sockets were broken, the furniture was Spartan. We were asked to hand over more money than we had agreed on Expedia in cash when we arrived. Awful. The location was the only good point.

Loud But Nice

Great little apartment but only a frying pan in the kitchen which made making Christmas Dinner a challenge! The noise from the bar downstairs and opposite is INCREDIBLE and continues every night apart from Sunday until about 5am. We wouldn't choose House William again but we did have a great stay.

Hotel lekker dicht bij het centrum

De eerste indruk was bedriegelijk. Het ligt in een steegje, geen aankondiging op de deur maar de uitleg via de mail was voldoende. Na een 2 tal, krap bemeten trappen op te zijn gegaan ging er een wereld voor ons open: een mooie ruime kamer met een trap naar boven voor de slaap ruimte.

Great room -- terrible noise

The room itself is clean and spacious and it is very centrally located. But there is a bar just across the street that is open until 2 am, even on weeknights, and plays incredibly loud music that makes it impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. If you're going for a party weekend, by all means book this hotel. But if you need to get sleep, avoid it.

TOO NOISY to sleep

The unfortunate truth is that this is a nice room (clean, seemingly well-located) UNTIL the evening hours. It is located on a street full of bars and the noise begins around 9pm and doesn`t end until 5 am. We were not able to sleep AT ALL and it really disrupted our travel plans and the trip to Antwerp. For people who are also going to be out partying, it might be a good choice, but if you actually want to sleep, you had better not stay here. I was very DISAPPOINTED and would not recommend staying here. The hotel website describes this as a lively area - that is simply a euphemism for a noisy and bad location for a hotel room.
