Rooms nice and clean. Staff very rude . No hot breakfast, as Chef did not turn up for work. Went for dinner one night, and was told “ you’ll have to come back in an hour, as we have a party on, and we’re too busy! No apologies, or anything. Just told quite rudely. Would not recommend this hotel. Completely ruined our weekend

Near Leeds and Bradford but certainly not in town

Stopped just 1 night Hotel location is rural but lovely and quiet. Great links to the Motorway network but remote location no shops or pubs without transport. Room was supposed to be non smoking and was labelled as such, definitely had been smoker in the room, tidy and good sized room.

Accommodating stay

Every thing was fine. The suite was more accommodating than I hoped and comfortable. The hot water took forever to come on and there wasn't enough snack for the number of guests. It was a room paid for 4 people and yet only 2 mugs were provided. Apart from those 2 issues, it was a good stay. The hotel was quiet as well and enough parking space.

Perfect position for the southern parts of Leeds, without being in Leeds, where accommodation tends to cost a fair bit more. Very tasty food from the restaurant, which was reasonably priced too. Friendly staff.

Great hotel bar breakfast

Fantastic service and room. Room was very spacious with an amazing view! Evening food was very good too. Breakast very poor, was 20 minutes late serving and that includes a drink!

After reading negative reviews after I had already booked, I was regretting my choice, but fortunately I was happy with my decision. When I arrived, the gentleman on reception was very kind and attentive. He allowed us into our room early without additional charge,, as he noticed how cold we were. The room was clean and tidy. We asked for new bedding which we immediately got with no problem.
