Cleanliness is an issue

I found the bathroom floor dirty upon my arrival. Calking in the tub area was moldy and soiled. Carpets were dirty in places.

The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way and I tripped and fell because the tile wasn’t even around the bathroom door entryway. There were white stains all over the couch cushions in the room. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

This was my second stay at the Courtyard of Columbus, Ohio. The only one thing I would improve upon is keeping the rooms clean. My first stay, my room was very clean. I used the white towel to dry the bathroom floor and there was no trace that I had used it to wipe the floor. My second visit, my room wasn't quite as clean. The full length mirror had dirty finger prints all over it. It appeared a small child had previously stayed in the room and the white towel didn't fair as well this go around. The bedside table closes to the door was sticky like someone had spilled a drink and left it. Overall, those are minor details just something the staff should be aware of. When the minor details start to be overlooked, its not long before the minor details become bigger details. A prefect example of this is your neighboring hotel. I will never stay there again! It was the filthiest place I have ever stayed. This is definitely not the case with this hotel. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. My stay was great. I absolutely love the balcony. I will definitely stay with you again.

Nice property. The pool is quite small. When making the reservation, we thought breakfast was included, rather than extra. Perhaps that is standard for this brand of hotel, but it wasn’t clear on the listing.
