Beautiful resort in the mountains. The night reception & bartender (originally from Poland) was so nice, friendly and informative! Bar had an extensive selection of akvavit! Breakfast was superb. Very neat lounge too.

Easter weekend at Hovdestøylen

My family spent 4 nights at Hovdestøylen over the Easter long weekend. We had a 3-bedroom unit in a wing next to the main hotel that was modern and well equipped. A cross-country ski trail runs right past the hotel, and the downhill ski centre is about a 5 min drive away. Parking can be a little crowded during the après-ski hours but we always managed to find a place. Nice bar area with large screen TV, fireplace and shuffleboard. Very friendly service in the bar/restaurant and at reception.

Veldig flott hotell

Har i løpet av to dager møtt flere av de ansatte og alle har møtt oss med vennlighet og behjelpelighet. Vi hadde ikke vært her før og hadde egentlig bare en natt her men når vi trengte en ekstra natt så tvilte vi ikke. Hele familien trives veldig godt og svært mye av det kan vi takke de ansatte for.

Fint ophold. Superhyggeligt hotel! Ligger få minutters gang fra centrum og 5 minutter i bil til alpincenteret. Det var dog ikke til at gennemskue på forhånd, hvilken type lejlighed/værelse, man havde bestilt. Stor lejlighed, fint med udstyr i køkken, men knap så gode toilet-/badforhold. Søde og hjælpsomme ansatte på stedet. Skøn lounge og restaurant med god morgenmad.

Leide 6-manns leilighet. I beskrivelsen står det "3 soverom". To av rommene er meget små og uten vindu. Man må dermed sove med dørene åpne. Burde være forklart som "sovealkove" (eller bod!) Manglet oppvaskmiddel (selvhushold) og toalettpapir.
