World-class hotel experience

Me and my girlfriend stayed for one week at Patmos Atkis. During this week I decided to propose to my girlfriend and I received excellent support from the hotel staff to make preparations (dinner booking etc.) for the proposal, which was a success! During our whole stay, the hotel staff including reception, restaurant, beach, experience manager, cleaning etc. were all really going the extra mile to provide world-class service which we greatly appreciated. The hotel facilities are beautiful with a great location and a nice private beach. Great exterior and interior design, we liked the minimalistic yet very Greek design of the building and its interiors. We had a great week which we will never forget and hope to return many times to Patmos Aktis in the future.

Lovely hotel but a few issues

With had a room with private pool which was lovely. The room was a good size and had a lounge area which was also spacious, as was the patio. The staff were all delightful and always extremely helpful and did try to resolve issues when we pointed them out. Breakfast is a buffet and there was a huge choice which they kept well stocked and refilled quite quickly. The communal pool is lovely but seemed to hardly be used which was great for me. I also had a treatment at the spa which was expensive but very good. The beach is perfect with plenty of comfy beds, shade, and calm seas – it’s the best bit in the hotel. So why 4 and not 5 out of 5? I don’t expect to find black mold in the shower of a hotel of this standard. They cleaned it away but it should never have been there. Scuffed paintwork. Some instances of style over practicality – not enough places to hang towels where the hand basins are. Nowhere to dry wet beach towels. Light bulbs not working. Housekeeping or senior staff really need to regularly inspect for things like that. Would we stay there again? We would because of the location and beach, and because Patmos is charming.

Aktis is the far best Hotel for us in the region.Even we had a small misunderstanding during in the lunch area front office manager Manolis made it up for us offering a complimentary dinner in Tavern.Dimitris as a Tavern manager treated us very well.During our stay we didn’t had any problems.We loved the architectural details both interior and exterior and had a pleasant five days.Shortly had enjoyed our stay in Aktis and looking forward to book it for the next time.

Romantik bir koyda konforlu tatil

Otelin ortak alanları ve odaları hem şık hem çok keyifli. Çalışanlar son derece kibar. Tekne sahibi Türkler burayı kendilerine yer edinmiş. Neredeyse hiç yabancı yok ve herkes birbirini tanıyor. Dolayısıyla kendinizi Yunanistan’da değil de Türkiye’de bir tatil köyünde gibi hissedebilirsiniz. Otelin Yunan restoranı Plefsis, denizin hemen kenarında, kumların üzerinde. Yemekler iyi ama yıllarca unutulmaz değiller. Son olarak bu romantik koyda deniz kusursuz değil ama otel, ilk girişi temizletmiş. Yüzerken altınızda tas ve yosun olmasını sorun etmezseniz deniz temiz, koy şahane, göl gibi kapalı bir koy.

Unser Aufenthalt war toll. Das Patmos Aktis versteht sich sehr gut auf großartigen Service. Das Maisonette Zimmer mit privatem Pool war mehr als erhofft - der eigene Pool war wirklich überraschend groß und tief genüg, sodass man richtig darin schwimmen konnte. Und auch der Strand war toll. Man hatte so nur täglich die schwierige Frage sich zu beantworten: Privat Pool oder Beach? Und auch das Frühstück war hervorragend. Das Buffet war sehr umfangreich. Es gibt auch eine live cooking Station für Eierspeisen. Der Kaffee wird auf Bestellung gebracht und kommt damit nicht nur aus einem Vollautomaten. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Auch sehr praktisch: vor der Einfahrt zum Hotel hält der Öffentliche Bus, der nach Skala, Chora und Kampos fährt. Man kann somit auch entspannt auf einen Mietwagen verzichten.

Disappointing for a 5 star hotel

We had a nice stay at Patmos aktis. The beach was great, but really understaffed. The breakfast was great also. The rooms were spacious. However, we had an extra child bed in our room and the second night we saw that there were ants in it. We called the reception, room cleaning didn’t come until the next day. And the next night and the night after that we had the same ant problem. The management didn’t call to check if the problem was fixed, or came up with another solution. We weren’t able to use the bed at all during our stay. It was very disappointing for a 5 star hotel. It is a really nice hotel with great facilities, however management is not 5 star.
