Extremely Basic

Stayed here for Reading festival. It’s better than a tent at the festival but it’s in need of some serious renovation. It was relatively clean at surface level but it could do with a thorough deep clean. The towels and bedding provided were well used and not particularly clean. The mattresses were all very worn in and could do with replacing. Also the ad states parking is available but it’s actually street parking limited to permits between very particular times, not suitable for the length of a stay. We had to find alternative parking arrangements.

House was ok

The house was ok, but it is in need of a deep clean and a freshen up with paint. It was flaking off in a few areas, and the back bedroom had some damp on the ceiling. Does have a stale smell of smoke aswell. The outside space is not suitable for children as had cigarette buts and broken glass. They did provide cleaning bits and shower gels which was nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Also provided half a day parking permit which was great for us as we were out most of the time. Definitely more suitable for an adult stay over children.
