My family and I rented the Island surf 312 property for 1 week while in Maui for my sister’s wedding, and we loved every minute of our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the property far exceeded our expectations. There were so many added amenities including a basketball, volleyball, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, laundry & dish detergent- everything my family needed. I was able to see several other rental properties where other family members were staying, and I felt the location, space, amenities and additional provisions of Island Surf far outshined the others.

Kitchen light, toaster, bedroom clock, did not work. Kitchen drawer face for silverware was on counter. This was shown in a previous post review over a month ago. I figured someone would of fixed it by now. Base board need some paint . I was quite embarrassed bring wife here.

Light bulbs not working. Local line phone battery dead. Owner set airconditioner on timer of 4 hours;( Seriously?) in the middle of the night you had to get up to turn AC back on again. Sockets in kitchen not working. We were there for 5 days, out of which 3 days water mains were shut off for city sewage works. First day of sewer works, we came back to the property only to find water from the toilet on entire bathroom floor. Had to clean up the royal mess ourselves,since it was after hours and could not get hold of anyone.Next morning,when management was called for these various concerns, a really nice agent assured us he would get back to us via email about what he could do for us for regarding the inconvinence, to this day we have not heard from the company. Not worth the price you will be paying for this accomodation😕 😒 . Would not book here again or through this company

I've traveled a lot and this was the worse property I've stayed in. The living room curtains were falling off the rod, the windows wouldn't didn't close or open. There were gaps between the window and the screens, so it was super noisy and allow the insects to come in. The place was old and dirty. There was mold on the ceiling in the master bedroom. The shower curtain rods were rusty and needed to be replaced. The bathtub had rust as well. The outlet in the kitchen didn't work. The TV remote was difficult to navigate. The furniture was old and stained. The smoke detector in the master bedroom was broken and falling off the wall. The overhead fans and lighting didn't work properly. I would not stay at this place and not use VTrips. When I called to complain they wanted to send maintenance. I asked them why they didn't take care of this before our stay. They didn't have a good response. I also felt we should get some type of refund, yet because we gave a negative review, they refused my refund. I will not be doing business with them in the future.
