Relaxing, quiet, excellent breakfast variety, and helpful staff. A must stay for IKEA fan including the excellent museum and cafe next door.
This hotel is fantastic with friendly staff, clean rooms and lots of chill out areas. The onsite food is also high quality for a great price and the breakfast selection is extensive. I liked the fact you get complimentary entry into the Ikea museum as well, which added to the experience. Highly recommend staying here!
IKEA Hotell is unique: interior very much IKEA, indeed stylish & curated, clean & comfortable. Hotel employees super kind dinner aat restaurants super delicious
Good hotel. Friendly reception staff, cozy atmosphere, good breakfast.
Good bed with clean linens and good pillows.
The only thing that we've found inconvenient is the sliding bathroom door .... It needs to be replaced with a "normal" one.
We will book again.
Very cute and very niche hotel especially if you’re a fan of IKEA. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service by staff was amazing as well.
Super practical and family friendly hotel in IKEA town Älmhult. Parking is free and safe outside. Passing through we appreciated the free to use washing facilities and the many games and activities the hotel offers. You even get free entrance to the IKEA hotel opposite, so follow the many signs to the museum, as many Sat navs will take you somewhere else.
Älmhult has excellent shopping on the outskirts of town as well.
Highly recommended as a practical stop over and of course a must if furniture and design is your thing
The Ikea Hotel is located at the Ikea factory. All of the furniture in the hotel is from Ikea. The room was functional and provided a great place to stop while driving from Stockholm, Sweden to Copenhagen, Denmark. Touring the Ikea museum, which is free to hotel guests, was fun and interesting.
Perfect place to stay with kids, Nice room with bunk beds. easy to make a bike trip. unfortunately the Sauna was out of order. next to the Ikea Museum. Also parking with caravan or tenttrailer.
Free Ikea museum ticket with the hotel booking! We didn’t realize it until too late and had to pay. Great breakfast, affordable and Grillen was my favorite restaurant in all of Sweden!
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay an incredibly special one, I don't even have the words to describe how amazing our stay was. Every person I spoke to was a genuine pleasure.
The area is peaceful and clean and I can't recommend the sauna enough, an absolute hidden gem. The food at the hotel restaurant was some of the best I've ever eaten and the bed was ridiculously comfortable.
It was an honour to visit. I love you, IKEA.
Not my first time at IKEA Hotell.
Clean room with super clean linens.
Bathroom a little too small for my taste.
Good breakfast with plenty of options.
Cozy atmosphere all around.
Having an electric car I was surprised to find out that the charging station was free of charge being a guest of the hotel.
I will come back for sure.
True to the Ikea brand, the hotel was simple but featured some ingenious and practical design elements. It was a relief we did not need to literally make our own beds with an Allen key. :)
Service was great, cleanliness was good, and the complimentary tickets to the museum was a nice touch.
On the whole it was a good experience. It was worth leaving our motorhome in the carpark for a night just to experience the hotel.
We loved our stay at the IKEA hotel! Super cozy and convinient! Just across the parking from the museum (in the first IKEA store) and the restaurant Grill. The concept is axed on " family/feel like home with living room, kitchen, terrasse and landry room looking like the showroom of the store but full functional. We end up doing as per their recommendation: enjoying peaceful time picking bluberries in the garden while waiting our laundry (it's free!).
