The motel had charm and ambiance as a vintage small town motel. The room, bathroom and linens were clean and plentiful. The motel is also associated with Hikers Coffee just a short walk away that had awesome coffee and breakfast bakery items. I highly recommend this motel when in the area.

This is a very humble old style western motel. Very clean and owners are kind and helpful. Bed is comfortable.Room is small. It's fine for an overnight stop to sleep the price is very reasonable.

I love supporting local businesses. The owner/manager greeted us with a smile upon arrival. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. And it's just a short walk to the St James Hotel, which has a great restaurant. We'll be staying at the Inn again next year on our way to Creede, CO.

Cimarron Get Away

We enjoyed our stay. The cabins are so cute. The facility is old but that is part of its charm. We especially enjoyed the benches outside each room. We sat and visited with our neighboring travelers. That doesn’t happen often these days in our busy world. Cimarron is charming. The parade and rodeo was so fun!

We parked in front of our door. Had a late check-in, which was not a problem- just had to call it in (super convenient). Even check-out was easy, just dropped a key in a bucket! I was pleasantly surprised at the electronic upgrades in the room: TV, satellite, full size coffee pot, microwave! It was super cozy and AFFORDABLE! There was a nice bench outside of the room and the only "noise" was the morning because it was a weekday. Great place, would stay again!

Pleasantly surprised! Its easy to go big, but you can't beat the service the smaller guys provide. I had a hiccup in reservation - (my fault) and thye stepped up to accomadate. Friendly staff made some reccommedations in town, and the room was clean and spacious. It wasn't the new, modern room I have become accustomed, but it was definitely clean, comfortable and not run-down - it was just right! Good Job, Hikers Cimarron Inn!

Looking for a quaint bodega style motel I found this this place. Will never stay at this place again! The shower pipes don’t work right (ya have to jiggle them to turn off), the room smelled, and the owner is a grade A jerk. I’d stay there again if it wasn’t for the owner. The guy kept saying I was trying to talk over him while I was asking questions about where to go for a drink. Nope. Never staying again there with this vibe. I’d move it to St James or stay in Raton.

Set in a small town, this unusual motel is fun. The room we stayed in was the ski room. The decor was all done in ski related things. It had a small sitting area, a king size bed and an on suite bath. The manager was nice and helpful. We ate at an antique hotel dining room. It was great
