I had a midweek stay here. Staff was helpful, rooms clean, and beach is beautiful. There was limited staff working so they were having to wear many hats. Restaurant food was good but again, only one server which made service a bit slow, but I was on vacation and not bothered by a longer wait. Would stay here again.

Was a good stay was hoping the pool was open but it is still being remodeled. Rooms could be a alittle cleaner found hair on sink and shower, and stain on sheet. Staff is super nice. Had fun on the beach.

If it's all about location, then this hotel is excellent. But beyond direct beach front access, this hotel is pretty bare bones (not even a toilet paper holder!). Staff was ok, but after we checked-in, they didn't acknowledge our presence. Would stay here again only to have excellent beach and hiking trail access. Otherwise, not much going on.

Beautiful location. But hotel room had not been fully cleaned - dirty wash cloths in shower. Also there are no operable windows, so if you want fresh air, especially nice given lakefront, you need to get a room with a balcony. I tried to change rooms and was give a new room number to check-in the next day, but the front desk said they had no record of it when I returned in the evening . The 3rd night, they were able to change the room. Also the breakfast was not good given the price. Recommend Emily's Pancake House instead.

The resort is okay. It's close to the beach, but you pretty much have to exit out the front of the lobby and walk around the entire building to get to the beach. It'd be cooler if some of the fire exits were accessible in and out. The lobby and ballroom are nice, but the rooms are mediocre... you will find paint chipping. The showers and jetted tubs look relatively new. I hear the pool has been under construction for five years. There doesn't appear to be a water fountain or bottle filling station on property. The staff are friendly. I dont think breakfast was complimentary.
