Good choice for a short stay in Singapore

Hotel's location is super, but hotel itself needs a reno. Good choice for a short stay, since metro station and loads of restaurants and night market are right there. We stayed for two nights, which was the max that we would have stayed there.

I have been using Hotels.com for years. This was the worst one I’ve ever been in a black mold on the walls and around the fan and around the bathtub area was terrible. When you turned on the sink, the water didn’t run down the drain. it ran out on the floor and then to floor Drain. They gave you one small sheet and the blanket was so bad with the mildew smell. You couldn’t even use it. You also had to climb through stairs to get to the room.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location . Other than that I have nothing else positive to say about this hotel. Only good for an over nighter

The hotel is dirty. The room is dusty. I could see some bugs flying around. The staff upgraded me to a larger room, but the room is still dirty. Cosidering the price of the room, I don't recommend anyone to choose this hotel.

dirty and expensive, no elevator

sadly one of the dirty and falling apart places, the staff are great and very helpful and kind, but other than that, no elevator and it needs a lot of cleaning. the area also is dirty, just in front you can see rats, lizzards and cockroaches at night

Really moldy and unclean room I couldn’t even see in the mirror and the sheets didn’t fit the bed and had stains on them. I really wanted to like this place because it is a good location in Chinatown but the cleanliness is awful. I will not return to this hotel.

Great location, small room, clean, but no elevator

Firstly, the location is just amazing. Right in the middle of Chinatown, 3-minute walk from MRT station, I loved walking around the neighborhood over-and-over. Just for this reason, I might come here again. Beyond that, the room itself was very clean and organized. That said, the room was pretty small and it was a bit pricey for the size. Moreover I got a room on the top floor, and there is no elevator so if you have a big suitcase like I did, it is very hard (you have to do it yourself, no paid help). However the staff was understanding and allowed me to keep my large suitcase for the entire duration of my stay (3 days) below encouraging me to grab what I needed. The Wi-Fi was good, and the staff allowed me to stay for a while after I had checked out while I was killing time to get taxi. All-in-all, a pretty decent experience but exceptional location.
