Absolutely beautiful building! The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The shared kitchen area was very convenient to prepare our supper and our breakfast.
I loved my stay. It was a beautiful room, clean, and quiet. I had made some errors when I initially booked and when I reached out to get help they replied quickly and were so patient with me. This is a great place to stop and I hope to be back again soon.
Beds were hard. Had to take off shoes, cold floor. However, clean room and bathroom. Stayed out of main building. Never saw a soul.

Excellent place
Staff was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Very understanding and accommodating with the wild fires in the area. I would recommend this lodge to anyone traveling the that area.
Very unique hotel. A detailed email provides instructions for self check in. No cell service in the area, so save your check-in info. Lodge provides Wi-Fi. Shared kitchen space with large fridge, stove, dishes, sink, and a dining table. Beautiful lodge decor, comfy bed. Free espresso machine with a variety of coffees!
Room was very clean, lobby was beautiful. It’s a self check in building so you get the instructions ahead of time. Overall a nice motel for the remote location. The only downside for me is the bed was very firm. Made for a rough sleep, but I prefer a softer mattress. Otherwise I thought the property was very nice.
We stayed in one of the motel 2 bed units, not in the main building.
Owners are kind and take pride in their lodge. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely lodge, and would stay again! During our stay, there was a wildfire that closed the hwy, they kept us informed on reopening. Highly recommend!!!
Wow! This is a very difficult review to give on a business. Great building, cute interior and lovely art and internal visuals located in an area that has little amenities. We knew that we had to self check-in. No problem. But the number of posted signs on what to do or not to do was staggering. Including a CCTV camera in the shared kitchen with a sign declaring that if you left food in the oven unattended at anytime, there would be a $1,000.00 fine.
My husband and I were at the property for approximately 2 to 3 hours (no sign of a welcome) before another guest arrived with a large dog. Mysteriously, a woman appeared from an office? suite? to greet the dog!
I have never given a poor review, but my skin is bristling. We have travelled many provinces, territories, Europe and Australia and this is a first. Perhaps the owners and management should rethink the game plan or get out of the “hospitality” industry.
Very clean and "pretty" rooms - wish I was with my wife instead of my adult son :-) Comfortable beds and large shower. Shared full kitchen in the actual lodge was well equipped, and sharing the space with others was actually kinda fun as I'm socialable and like to share travel stories.
We were towing a boat, and there was ample parking for our length.
Common area downstairs in the lodge had lots of "loaner books", comfortable seating, and a few card/board games
Coffee bar had two pots on a timer to start at 430am, and was well stocked.
Owner was extremely pleasent.
Area leading into and leaving is in an essentially cell dead zone, so be sure to capture/write down your arrival insgtructions and key codes for your room and lodge before starting your journey. This "tip" in included in the "confirmation notice" sent bhy the lodge, for good reason.
Strongly recommend!
