For an inexpensive stay, my friend and I were very happy with the property. It is quite basic in many respects, but the service, cleanliness and location could not have been better!
Note the rooms are small but the location can not be better. Staff is great and the area is quiet. The room and bathroom is clean. Would stay there again, loved it.
Overall it was a very good place for the price and location. However, the bathroom was too small and the shower was even smaller (for reference I am 5’5” 125lbs.)
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Phaedra Hotel! It was simple but clean and comfortable. It was in the heart of the Plaka, and yet it was quiet enough to sleep at night. It was convenient to shops and dining, and a short walk to the Acropolis. In fact, the hotel has a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the Acropolis. My husband and I took our lunch up there one afternoon. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely recommend it.
Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Excellent location for walking all around the central part of the city, and easy access to public transportation. The only thing I missed was having bed covering more than a sheet. The staff was very accommodating. Good value!

The bathroom was so tiny unable to wash face in tiny sink as shelf just above it.view from window was great.rooftop terrace was lovely
Very good staff, perfect location, reasonable price. I really enjoyed my time there. I've bern there in winter time in December. It's not a very luxurious hotel but clean and comfortable one. I'd recommend especially if you solo travel.
Amazing value hotel, so close to all the major sites of Athens. We walked from the hotel to everywhere, were surrounded by great food options and the view of the Acropolis from the roof was spectacular. Rooms kept lovely a clean. Noise does carry, so bring ear plugs if a light sleeper.

Could not complain much since this is a 1 star hotel. The key highlights are the customer service and paranomic view on the rooftop. Don't miss the terrace at the top level if you stay at this hotel.
Definitely not as pictured. It was very close to everything but not as the pictures.

Great location and very clean, staff polite. The mai issue was that the bathroom was not connected to the room but across a public hallway. It was for out room only, we could lock it and it was very clean and small. The problem was that I would have expected this detail in the initial description of the room before booking.
Well placed at a short distance from the Akropolis metro stop and at the start of the main tourist street. Older location and a bit Spartan, but super friendly staff at a very good price. Great roof top terrace. Some rooms have a detached but private and assigned toilet and shiwer (but of really good size compared to the typical en suite bathroom). The one concern is the slippery tile floor in the shower without friction footing of any kind...no bumps, no rubber mat. One needs to be steady and focus to not slip and fall.
At first glance, you wonder if you made a mistake, but then the room has a marvelous view of the Acropolis. The space is small, but clean. The bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom across the hall is large and clean. The TV did not work, but we didn't need it. The light bulb by the bed didn't work, but we were only in the room to sleep.
The location is excellent for sight seeing and plenty of options for food. It was the least expensive room of our entire trip and for 2 nights, we were very satisfied.

The location is very close to most major tourist sites, including the Acropolis. The view of the Acropolis from the hotel roof is great. The rooms are clean. The staff are extremely helpful and good. The only problem is that the bathrooms are extremely small, and it was very difficult to use the shower. The shower head did not stay in position and moving around in the shower stall was very difficult. There was nowhere to place soaps, etc. The shower curtain kept sticking to ones body while showering. Other space limitations were manageable. Understand also that toilet paper could not be flushed, but had to be disposed of in a metal canister near the commode; (a somewhat jarring experience). It was disposed of daily though.
