I had a above expectations stay here. I have stayed at a few spots around Ventor, and this one stands out above the rest. When they say "breakfast included", it's usually a cereal bar or something. Not here! A huge cooked to order omelet, generous side of fruit salad, toast, potatoes, made fresh, fast and delivered with a smile no less! The staff was so nice and accommodating, you just don't get personalized service like this much anymore. The room itself, despite appearing a little dated in the pictures, is far more charming in person. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and set to the perfect temperature. The location is great, just steps from the beach, Wawa's, fine dining and they also have parking, a true rarity. Check in was easy, and if all that isn't enough, they also had cookies every night. Im a sucker for cookies, but great service deserves recognition and that's why I posted this review.

Nice selection for breakfast. Rooms are comfortable. Nice for a lil weekend getaway. Close to Tropicana, the beach and downtown shopping (less than 8 minutes away). Safe area and quiet.

Our room(rm 5) was cute, comfortable bed, nice size closet, standard efficient bathroom.. only complaint is there were a large amount of alive flies on the inside of both windows in our room.. it was very strange.

John, the owner can’t do enough for you. Coffee and bottled water is always available. Ice, cups and glasses for wine are clean and plenty. Nice restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast is always hot and fresh. You can see the ocean from the dining room.

Had a great time at this Ventnor B&B.

This is a charming and lovely B&B in an older but updated building in Ventnor, NJ less than 1 block from the boardwalk. The people who run the place are friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was quite good. A few words of caution: there are stairs to get in and to climb to higher floors. The bathrooms have been updated but are small and my room was not large but others are larger. On the plus side, there are several good places to eat and a Wawa, all within 2 blocks. Finally, the parking lot is a block away.

I like that it came with free parking and breakfast at the close-by cafe. I didn't, though, see beach towels that were supposed to be provided. I never saw any staff. Everything was done by text. We got there and the door was locked with nobody manning the registration. The "code" to get into the building was upstairs in our room. It would have been nice to have the access code on the paperwork we were sent so we didn't have to wait for a guest to come to the door and say, "I'm not sure I'm supposed to let you in."

Great place to stay

Our stay at Carisbrooke was wonderful. John, the owner, even watched out for our car, as we unloaded. The bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom spacious, and the whole place was immaculate. The free breakfasts at the corner were delicious, especially the waffle!
