For whatever reason the heat was outrageous. It was very hot. That is my only complaint with the exception of people hanging out by the curb where my car was parked made me a little nervous

The property has a nice indoor pool. Also breakfast is provided each morning. The hotel is convenient to the Des Moines Metro Opera at Simpson College which is my reason for staying there the past two summers.

Filthy! Fungus growing out of open tub drain, huge ball of dust, dirt in corners of bathroom. Bathroom door didnt close and touched toilet seat. And they charged $200 a night!!! I have photos if you would like to see them

I booked through Expedia and when I went to check in and they checked my ID they told me I couldn’t stay because I’m not 21. Which that’s fine, but then when I asked if they could refund my stay they said no and that I would have to call the manager. So I’m very upset they not only let me book my stay but they also charged me when they told me that I could not stay there

Great sleep

The hotel was very accomodating to our needs. We have some mobility issues, and the check in attendent was so helpful. We have stayed here three times, and this was by far the best stay yet. We loved the pillows and the bed.

First off I paid for one king bed and ended up with two queen. Second, the bed I slept on was like a board. The girl at the front desk who checked me in was lovely and made check in fast and easy but I didn’t know there wasn’t an elevator before she told me. So after lugging my stuff to the second floor room I was given that I discovered had two queen instead of one king bed in it, it would have been a lot of work effort and time to go get another room.

Average hotel. Staff was not helpful with vending machine issues and we ended up having to pay twice for items. The pool is 3ft deep on the shallowest part so toddlers struggled to touch. Otherwise- good stay!
