I liked that it was so close to a lot of fast food restaurants and campus. The breakfast is not great with very few options and even though it goes through 9:30, there was almost no food when I went down at 9:00. The room also did not feel super clean. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful and it is not bad for the price.

Zero star 1. Smell like soap box not in good way 2. Bathroom shower tile very dirty 3. Toilet clogged up first day-maintenance repaired 4. Bathroom door will not close properly-slammed very hard to close 5. Showers and sink will not drain-water back up We could not stay another night. When checking out they offer different room but we no thanks. We had to find another hotel to stay. Very disappointed in Quality Inn

This was an affordable stay for a night in South Bend. The staff up front were very friendly and offered us water when we got in after being on the road. The room was fine, not super impressed with the cleanliness of the linens. A few stains on the comforter. I could have informed the front desk and asked for a different room, but with us being so tired it didn’t really matter. Comfortable room. Overall a good, quick stay.
