If your ideal vacation involves playing a round of golf, a play-and-stay golf holiday may be in your future. Golf resorts and hotels feature either an onsite golf course or partnership with a nearby golf course. If they don't have an onsite golf course, they may offer shuttle service to nearby golf courses.
Higher end golf resorts may include clubs, caddies, carts, and more in their package price. Golf vacation packages may also include green fees and country club passes. Others may offer those perks and services for a small fee.
Many golf resorts have other amenities such as game rooms, pools, playgrounds, and restaurants for the non-golfers in your party.

"I did not like that the one and only restaurant on site closed at 9 pm and no room service after that time either. Rooms are old with cottage cheese ceilings and paper thin walls. Kids screaming next door and people walking hard upstairs."

"Beautiful and extensive golf community / resort. Old Florida charm. Rooms and architecture is 70s, and it’s a mix of residential and hotel units. Felt more like renting a condo than a hotel. Unfortunately we left w flea bites (most likely from the unit itself). That’s the reason for the low stars ..."

"Everything went well. It is a lovely location, and the staff were great at meeting our demands. The AC noise in the room for the whole night, regardless of the setting, was the only negative. We'll recommend it."
