Golf resorts and hotels feature either an onsite golf course or partnership with a nearby golf course. If they don't have an onsite golf course, they may offer shuttle service to nearby golf courses.
Higher end golf resorts may include clubs, caddies, carts, and more in their package price. Golf vacation packages may also include green fees and country club passes. Others may offer those perks and services for a small fee.
Many golf resorts have other amenities such as game rooms, pools, playgrounds, and restaurants for the non-golfers in your party.

We stayed Jan 5-7th so a quieter time of year which was nice. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was a bonus. Kids enjoyed it and water was warm. Staff was excellent and helpful. They actually have people that will help you with your luggage. That is so hard to find these days. My only complaint was the room had a weird fish smell.
