"Lovely hotel with a great location on the park. No air conditioning so it might be hot in the summer. My room was stuffy during the daytime with an outside temperature in the 70s (~24 C). The windows open only a tiny bit. Other rooms with different sun exposure might be cooler."

"We came by car and there was ample space to park. We had a warm and friendly check in and the member of staff showed us to our room. The room was clean, well furnished and quite large. We had an excellent Lamb curry and drinks in the Bistro which was very tasty. In the morning our welcome again was friendly and efficient. "Everything was excellent. And I would recommend that the large sitting chairs in the rooms be recushioned, no padding at all. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and will be back."

However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel.
