Overall, the Hyland is not — what anyone yet the blind — view as an example of “progressive architectural design” or, be mistaken for a Hyatt or Marriott destination, yet it provides the basis necessities and beyond for the business or leisure travelers!"

"The location of this property is off the Poinsettia Lane exit in South Carlsbad, CA, and serves travelers as an excellent and strategic base when visiting the area. It is a short block to the ocean, and permits a visitor to turn right toward Carlsbad Village on which one can use a wide “boardwalk” to walk above the beach or to drop down into the Village to find a restaurant or shop. Or, a visitor can turn left and drive into Leucadia to have lunch or dinner or to stroll or head down to the beach. Great location so close to the water."
