Only down side was the building work to improve the facilities to the smaller pool however this didn’t really affect our stay as we were the furthest away from the noise. My room was upgraded to a waterfront view which had a huge room with a spacious bathroom and a stunning view. "Excellent service from Ellilynn and Soyol amongst others. Our bags were lost on the way here and they made sure that they were retrieved from the airport. Overall, a great and very accommodating team. We had the Ocean View King room on the third floor which was fantastic with a huge balcony and beautiful view. Lot of kids about but 5th floor pool is kid free. "

"Service was great. Room was great. Ocean view on the beach. Front exterior of th ehotel is somewhat offputting but once you enter there is a great freindly atmosphere and the staff really are attentive to you. Cookies and fruit in your room everyday. Bar was friendly and breakfast was included."

"A good property for the price. It has a lovely pool and well maintained gardens. Breakfast was good with many options available. Rooms, whilst comfortable, are looking somewhat tired and in need of renovation, particularly bathrooms. The new infinity pool requires payment to use and very few people bother. Seems such a waste for a beautiful facility to sit empty. They need to drop this charge or make it adults only. "

"A true place to relax and big rooms with good amenities and a hot tub all in one 👍 nearby to the airport even though we took an early flight in the morning it was not so rushed as it is very near. Buggee service to doorsteps."

"Lovely place to relax, super food and super attentive and friendly staff nothing too much trouble The rooms are lovely, they are literally up in the rainforest so there are steps to climb but you only need to ask a staff member and they will take you up in the car. The hotel has a farm inland and do a visit with the hotel chef to look around and prepare a meal, well worth it! "

"The location is beautiful and understandable that it is in an ancient rainforest, however it doesn’t excuse the mould in some of the rooms or the hair that was clogging the sinks and showers. On arrival we decided to have lunch as they prepped our room, we found flies in our salads, not one but three. We had a 1.5 year old with us, so you can only imagine our shock when the room smelt of damp. They finally agreed to changing our room to only find more damp growing even on the pictures displayed...

Beautiful hotel set in the rainforest

"A beautiful beachfront hotel set in the rainforest which is very close to the Oriental Village. I had a few issues with my room, which were dealt with swiftly and professionally by management. "I give 5 stars but its not without small flaws. Walls on our unit were paper thin so we heard upstairs whenever they walked around. The pool and pool bars are awesome. The beach is right there. The restaurant is excellent. The boat to the island goes every hour or so so it can be hard sometimes to plan for. With so much to do on the mainland you need to enjoy staying at the hotel more for this to work. Loved it but might stay on msinkand next time. Great experience "
