Check-in time was after 2pm. Came at 2pm. Booking was made and fully paid a week earlier. After a very massive long queue, it was my turn and I paid RM100 for deposit. Unfortunately, no rooms are readily available until further notice. Been advised by Manager of Maintenance, once the room ready they will give a call. We went out for late lunch. Got call for room availability at 5.35pm, arrived at the hotel lobby at 6.05pm but still no room for us. No staff was seen to attend the guests at the reception counter. Waited until 7.40pm and finally a part timer named Amelia managed a room for us. She handled us patiently and kept on apologising to us unlike her seniors. Waited some more outside the designated room for the housekeepers to change all the linen and stuff. Later on the very same day, heard lots of other guests were like me. These were due to unreliable hotel policy (double/triple booking & extended stay from previous guests) and unhappy hotel employees toward the current management (during my stay, few of the employees were talking and hoping for new management). Cleanliness from the housekeeping team was fast and efficient. Restaurant menu was okay. Swimming pool got some defects with the pool tiles and I had few deep cuts while swimming there. Parking provided was okay. Check-out process was smooth.
