I would absolutely stay here again. The breakfast was tasty with an excellent variety. The room was clean and I loved the lighting options which maybe sounds silly but after a long day it helped to wind down. Every staff I encountered was kind and helpful. The international plug was a nice surprise. Steps away are some food options and a convenience store. The property was close to the airport and away from the high traffic areas which is my preference during a vacation.

This was a convenient and comfortable choice for our one-night stopover as we were heading to Koh Lipe. A standout was the breakfast, which offered a really good variety. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. For travellers needing a comfortable layover in Langkawi, especially those with early departures, this property is a solid option. It even seems like it could be a good pick for a few days as they have a pool and there are a few dining options around that might be worth it to explore.

We stayed at the Smith House for 3 nights. The location itself is away from the main attractions but very close to the airport. There is a strip mall under the hotel which has a Pizza Hut, KFC, 7Eleven and a few other shops for convenience. The room itself was very clean and good sized. The morning breakfast was decent and few options to choose from.

I recently stayed at The Smith House and was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. The cleanliness, the staff, the room amenities, and the pool were all excellent. While the hotel’s proximity to the airport is convenient and there are several good shops, restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores nearby, reaching the beach requires a 20-minute ride by taxi or Grab, which is a bit inconvenient. However, overall, I was very pleased with the hotel.

It is the best deal for me. The property located closed to the airport and in the middle of attractions. So, you can have a bike to visit those beautiful places easily. The single room I got was compact with what I need. The property, room, pool are very well maintained. The breakfast was nice. Finally, staffs are helpful and kind. I'll definitely come back!

Overall the hotel is not bad at all for its price. The location is convenient for the airport and since Langkawi has things spread all through the island you will have to move around regardless. Breakfast was not bad at all, savoury options were nice. Regardling cleaningness, it could be cleaner, like in the corners of the room and in the bathroom corners. Although not dirty, the new sheets and duvets had stamps. You could tell they were cleaned, but seeing stamps almost everywhere makes you doubt a bit. Finally, the staff was very polite and professional, the one remark that can be done is when you ask them for help to plan the activities they charge you much more that what you find outside. The mangrove cruise they gave us wa more expensive than booking it from the place directly, and also it was a bad one, compared to other options. They also gave us a price for a cruise that was a joke compared to the one we went and what we had. Overall, we got the impression we are just money cows for them, which really can leave a bad impression. The hotel is good for its price, but if you don’t mind spending more, you can definitely find better options.

Excellent stay

Overall excellent stay in this new hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom; whilst staff were friendly and attentive. The included breakfast spread was also decent considering the price. The rooftop pool area is very nicely done up although unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the pool.

We stayed our last night in Langkawi at the Smith House since it is only 4 minutes to the airport. The room was clean, the restaurant was excellent, and the view of the sunset from the rooftop pool area was beautiful. I was afraid that it would be noisy since it was so close to the airport but we didn't hear any planes at all.

最初選擇它是想找近機場的。check in後，被房間的設計感吸引，一人住地方剛好，住宿環境舒適，高質，乾淨，還有有風筒和燙斗。 不想外出，房內電視還有很新的電影可選看！太讚了！泳池在頂樓，要拍卡上天台樓梯才到，花了些時間找。當日天氣太熱不想外出，於是留在酒店餐廳吃，食物質素也很好，晚餐由廚師即場烹煮，價錢也很超值。
