Great location and kid centric hotel

"The hotel itself (and the adjacent park) are very family friendly. The kids loved the lobby which is essentially a giant play room with Lego entertainment figurines coming out to entertain the kids every hour or so.
The one gripe I have is with the room layout. The problem is that, if you put the kids to sleep in their bunk beds at 8pm (which you will because everyone here has young kids), the adults can't get to the bathroom or the door to leave the hotel room without walking through and disturbing the kids.
The door between the kids area (and bathroom and door to exit to the rest of the hotel) and the room with the king size bed is quite noisy (squeeky) to close or open so that also wakes the kids up.
It would be so much better if the kids loose access to the bathroom and front door at lights out than the adults.
Breakfast was excellent and the location, for those visiting Legoland was excellent."

"I always like hotels under Sunway and try to stay at a Sunway. Dont expect much in terms of shopping and even the supermarket was not very affordable. But it makes a very good stay for a long drive before u return back into SG. It is only 15mins away from Tuas 2nd link. Eat early breakfast and then checkout and head back. Can also practice your golf stance and form in the nearby golf shooting range. "

"Booked a deluxe room with twin beds which is more costly than a standard room with a single queen size bed, but the reception initially gave the latter to me. Had to insist a change as the standard room is too cramp for two persons to move around - the bed occupied almost the entire space.
The venue - I refused to call it a hotel - though look new on the surface, one quickly realised that it is not well maintained. For examples, the door could not automatically closed properly but requires some force to close it due to some alignment issues; the walls are full of hairline cracks and the shower water got stagnant easily and quickly. See my photos attached.
For the same price , I could have easily gotten a similar room in a nearby 4-star hotel - the Ibis. "
