"Good Location "

"Large rooms w big bathroom and tub. Decor is a bit dated. The biz center is a small side room off the lobby w 2 chairs. They took off the door to the room so it is noisy when people walk by. They have a huge downstairs dining area w a side conf room. But they wont let anyone use it after breakfast! Also the AC was too cold"

"Dust on the headboard and minibar shelf. Be noted late check out costs $300/hr. Free coffee anytime in the business lounge. Staff were friendly and professional. But doorman could be better trained in taking your luggage before sending you to the distant carpark."

"Hotel seems quite new. Room is fairly spacious and beds are comfortable. Shower has good pressure and consistent temperature. Breakfast (vegetarian) spread is very good and tasty. Hotel has own car park sites just behind the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great - walking distance to night market and several famous eateries. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Hualien"

"All throughout our stay, we’re just impressed! We got there 2hrs earlier from the required check-in time, without even us asking, they said we could go to our room! We had a beautiful view of the park & buildings, & we love our room! Very comfy bed & all. Front desk Elena and Angel helped us tremendously and patiently navigate Taoyuan. "We were in this hotel when the big earthquake hit (epicenter about 10 miles south) and it was very scary. The hotel staff were so nice and calming and reassuring. they got right to work cleaning up all the broken stuff and checking all rooms and reassuring people. Then when it was discovered there was damage to the water tank and there would be no water in the guestrooms they found us another place to stay so we were perfectly comfortable and cared for. "We liked the private hot spring in the room but would feel more comfortable if there was a sign indicating that the pool was cleaned/sanitized after every guest stay. We also liked the convenience of the underground parking as well as the excellent breakfast. The International portion of the hotel is rather dated with an unpleasant smell at the elevator lobby, but not inside the room. Some of the floor tiles inside were cracked but the room we had was spacious, quiet and quite pleasant. Also...

"Very nice stay in the suite with a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately the earthquake cut our stay short, but they were so accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. What a terrifying thing for the staff to navigate - they were wonderful. I fear the hotel had significant damage and hope they will be able to reopen. "
