“Great service”
This was a fantastic hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are fairly simple, but very comfortable. Ours had a balcony overlooking the central pool courtyard. The building itself was great. The architecture felt like a real Vietnamese building, rather than the usual hotel block. The only downside is a smallish hot water tank. The included breakfast was very good, with a variety of foods and eggs cooked to order however you'd like. The hotel's real strength is its staff. From the welcome drinks to the chats over breakfast they were all very friendly and helpful. It was a great way to meet some locals.
“Exceeded our expectations”
Our stay at the NhiNhi Hotel was superb. When we arrived in our taxi (which was arranged ahead of time by the hotel), the staff came out to greet us. Staff could not do enough for us, and we truly felt that they were sincere. Each of our requests were honored, and they even brought scrambled eggs and toast up to our room at 9pm one evening when we were not feeling up to par and did not want to venture out for dinner. Rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and toiletries and hair dryer supplied. They went out of their way to book the particular trip we were looking for to My Lai with a driver and personal tour guide. We have never encountered service like this in all of our travels.
“The friendliest hotel I've stayed at.”
From the moment you arrive the staff make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is a short walk from the Old Town in Hoi An and 4K from a splendid beach. You can hire a bicycle for a dollar a day to get to the beach. The staff will advise and help with any trips and visits you wish to take My Son temple is well worth a visit, but most of all the hotel staff add to the sheer pleasure of staying in Hoi An itself. a most relaxing place yet with plenty of life if you want it. Nowhere including the hotel seems capable of providing a bad meal, try the tables set out in rows by the river, each row owned by a different chef. You won't be disappointed. I certainly can't wait to go back.
“Pretty hotel, friendly and well located”
We found the hotel lovely, a nice break from the chaos of the bigger cities in Vietnam. It was well located in a typical Vietnamese area, yet only about 5 minutes walk to the old town. We certainly had better food in Vietnam, but the Nhi Nhi's kitchen turned out decent meals for a reasonable price. We chose to eat a few meals there as it was a bit rainy in Hoi An in late October and we sometimes just wanted to eat in for a rest. Laundry service was quick and reasonable. There was never a shortage of hot water in the bathroom. The only excessive noise I heard was from the pool, but it closed at night, I think at 9pm. The safe in my room didn't work with the combination, so they gave me the master key to it so that I could secure my belongings. We booked a private My Son tour one day and another day we booked transport to Hue, including a tour along the way. All were at good prices, not cheap, but affordable. The hotel's tour agent was very helpful and quick to contact my inquiries by email, unlike many other Vietnam companies. I'd stay there again, would also recommend it to anyone not wanting a 5 star hotel and services or a chain hotel.
“I had a great experience at the hotel Nhi Nhi”
I had a great experience at the hotel Nhi Nhi. The staff were fantastic and made you feel very welcome from the first minute you step through the door. after a few minutes you felt you had been friends for many years. A small unassuming hotel with great character. The girls on reception were always happy and only too happy to help you. Food and service great and I would have no problem recommending the hotel to anyone going to Hoi An. In fact I will be back next year with any luck and look forward to seeing the them all again. First class Hotel
“very nice”
The Nhi Nhi is a nice hotel a few minutes walk from the pedestrian center of old Hoi An. It is a fairly new building with a small pool in the courtyard. the rooms have high ceilings, are spacious and most have balconies overlooking the pool. The service at the Nhi Nhi was exceptional. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and kind. They adored our children and I have to say our children adored them (there were tears when we checked out). Drawbacks include incredibly poor food at the hotel restaurant (which seems impossible in Vietnam) and a laundry service that returned clothes that were still wet. However, these are little things when you consider the location and cost of the hotel.
“Brilliant staff and convenient location”
Having arrived by Open Tour Bus, we had to get a taxi to the hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. After registering, they sat us down and gave us a drink while they told us what there was to do in Hoi An. Althought they have a 'tour desk', there was no pressure to buy a tour from them. Although not in the town, the hotel is only a five minute walk to the Japanese Bridge and the old town. The staff are very helpful and always have a cheery smile and a friendly word. Our room, on the ground floor with a window overlooking the pool (situated in the centre of the hotel and open to the air) had two king size beds and an adequate bathroom but only a small TV. There was a good variety of food on offer for breakfast, including eggs cooked when you ordered them, served next to the pool. On the whole, a very enjoyable stay with the reception staff waving us off as we left for the next stage of our trip.
“Opinion from Recent Visit”
The hotel staff were fabulous. Obviously there were slight language barriers but overall I have no complaints with this hotel. Myself and 2 friends stayed for 4 nights and were looked after completely. They organised transport; they fixed any problems immediately and were always on hand. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the centre of town which suited us perfectly. I was able to hire a pushbike and used this to sightsee other places close to the hotel. The breakfasts were fine and food could be ordered at any time of the day. I would recommend this hotel to others.
“Nice place”
Staff were extremely friendly and had a Christmas party which was quite nice. Would stay there again.
