The property is high on a hill top w a steep walk down (or up) to the main road or villages - the property is a ways from the main villages so you’ll need taxi or hotel transport w various drop and pick-up times - the main dining room/restaurant was lovely - great food and service when we choose to dine "

"The beach at this hotel is super pretty and room bed comfy with nice balcony ocean view. Chill / social vibes overall at hotel. Surrounding area super quiet especially at night if that’s what you’re after. I didn’t like the bathroom of the room, water spraying everywhere from shower with no curtain. Also no water bottles in room and no cleaners came in. Overall cheaper stay and still a spacious comfort room to stay in. "

"Great quiet spot north of all the busyness, but walkable 10mins along the beach. Good to escape the burnt backpackers and chill. Sea good for a dip/snorkel. Rooms are large. Happy hour cocktails on beachfront. Sairee beach was not really for me after the chilled vibe of the south but worth it for the amazing sunsets."

"The resort had power shut off daily from 10am till 3pm. The safety box did not work. Area to store clothes very limited. The resort is approx 30 yrs old and appears to have nothing done since built. The walkways to cabins are very primitive with very few handrails and some areas the walkways were near high drop offs. The walkways were very scarcely illuminated and wiring was spliced and tapped together and laying across walkways along with water pipes creating trip hazards. I would not recommend...

Area was clean, and pools were gorgeous. Good breakfast but poor layout creating a few traffic jams. Also the amount of stairs or hills you have to walk is too much for some, also expect taxi to charge 400B one way"

We loved the seclusion of the hotel from the busy and more active area and with the hotel offering shuttle service at a very reasonable price, we were able to visit the more active areas of Koh Tao! "The only obvious advantage was a good beach with a lot of corals. We were completely disappointed with Charm Churee Village. When we arrived to the hotel, the staff were really unfriendly, also the numbers that we booked were terrible, so we had to pay fir an upgrade, and the manager didint even give us a proper receipt. "The Seaview Resort is located on a hill side around 1km from the town, you need transport of some kind for this resort. The staff are extremely helpful. All the huts are on the hillside the steps to them are very steep and actually quite a challenge so maybe not such a good place for the older generation or anybody with walking difficulties."
