“Ver nice experience”
Great location. Room was very nice and well appointed. Marble bath, nice products. Coffee maker with teas and coffee in room. Two chairs, small desk, nice size closet.
“Wonderful hotel”
The large room and comfortable king size bed were a nice surprise. All of the hotel staff were unfalteringly polite and couldn't have been more accommodating. Nice touch of a sitting room adjacent to the bar containing daily papers and travel guides to the city. There were also complimentary pastries, coffees, walnuts and bottles of port and the local cherry brandy on offer. If I had to find one fault it would be that the room had the odd scuff on the woodwork, walls etc. But this was not enough to spoil our enjoyment of this charming art deco hotel.
“Spring break”
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We loved the little touches like afternoon tea and cakes. This was great after a busy day sightseeing. The port available for a nightcap was ideal. The breakfast was a little expensive but very good.
“Lovely hotel, highly recommended”
Very attentive, polite staff. We liked the well appointed lounge/library as an alternative to sitting in the room and my husband particulary enjoyed the free port that was on offer! The breakfast was very pleasant with a little bit of everything on offer and was served til mid-day so allowed you a very lazy start to the day. For an unexpected bonus on the doorstep try "Rubro", the restaurant that is about 3 doors down from the hotel.
“Hotel Britannia”
From the moment we arrived, our stay was exceptional. The hotel staff made us feel like we were at home and made sure we had all the qualities of home. The room was clean, bright and roomy. The location was ideal. This hotel comes highly recommended.
“beautiful room”
Its a wonderful hotel. The rooms are very tastefully done: very large and spacious considering its in Europe. If you travelling with a child they have the room separated out into a smaller room for the child with a nice bed. The metro is walking distance.
“Charming Deco Hotel”
A wonderful hotel in a quiet location very close to transit and the city core. Staff was attentive and helpful, room was large and comfortable. Beautiful deco interiors. Very nice breakfast. Nothing bad to say about four nights with the Britannia.
“Wonderful hotel , great location”
This hotel was excellent. The room was extremely large and very beautiful. The staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast and great location near shops (high-end) and the metro.
“Lovely Portugese Experience”
The rooms are large and attractive and comfortable. The staff could not have been more accommodating and we liked the quiet yet convenient location. The hotel has wonderful ambiance and a real Portugese feel. It is a definite find.
“Lisbon's Best Hotel”
beautifull hotel, excellent staff, lovely breakfast.
