This hotel is in the Intendente area of Lisbon, just outside all the noise and sights. After I worked out how to avoid routes with steps it was an easy 20 to 30 minutes walk to wherever I needed to be (or a 6 to 7 euro taxi if I was returning later after Fado or jazz!). The hotel seemed small but the rooms were spacious and the decor plays to the area's irreverent past. The bed was very comfortable and the rainfall shower reliable. In contrast to the decor breakfast was minimalist but if you are like me and only need coffee, cheese, cold cuts and croissants then you will be well looked after. The staff were great and always there to help no matter what time.

Room service lacked and breakfast was minimal and way too busy. Hotel was nice and clean though. Did not love location, streets surrounding didn’t feel safe at night but overall it was close to a good amount of areas and sights.

A great place to stay. Clean rooms & very friendly & helpful staff. We travelled with friends so we had 2 rooms. In our room, the hot water faucet was not securely attached and came off in our hands on several occasions. Our friends room had a problem with the power outlet in the bathroom. The first time they used and unplugged the hairdryer it pulled the power outlet out of the wall. This was not repaired before we left two days later. The hair dryer also overheated and smelt like something was burning inside so they could not use it.

Really fun and unique hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and enjoyed the room decor and touches. Small but tasty breakfast selection and great to have the range of times available. Good location, close to the Metro but also walking distance from restaurants, viewing points, historic sights. Loved it and already planning a return visit!

Beautiful hotel, the room was so spacious. Every area of the hotel is so thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast is small but so tasty. The bed has the softest sheets! I would recommend this to anyone staying in Lisbon.

We loved this hotel, the design is very unique and the staff were friendly. It was very clean too. The only very minor issues we would say was they could do with more sun loungers in the pool area, and cleaner could be topping up the coffee machine capsules in the room. But it was such a great stay overall- we saw complaints on older reviews about noise from other rooms, but we didn't experience that!
