"Amazing garden and views of Mt Fuji"

"Lovely mountain retreat, very stylish. Unfortunately unable to accommodate our 12year old daughter - even when we booked the room for 3 people. There were only 2 beds provided so she would have to sleep between us. The hotel refused to put up a futon for her so she had to sleep on the chairs. Shocking, seeing that all the other hotels we stayed in provided a bed or a sofa bed for her."

"This was our second year staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, and the combination of sea and forest is really lovely. Last year it was excellent in every respect. This year, however, it was so crowded with families and young children that navigating the breakfast area was really a challenge. "The stay is like something our of a fairytale! You can see the views of the mountains, lake and the tori gates. The property is right by the water. It has the most up to date amenities! Including your own footbath out doors and a full private onsen that opens up to the views! 10/10 can not recommend this place enough! It was literally the most transformative part of our trip to Japan. "
