"This hotel was a sanctuary of calm with forest views from every window, excellent food, very friendly staff, and a minimalist aesthetic. Bathrooms were shared as it provided a traditional Japanese experience but as someone who would generally avoid a shared bathroom this was more part of the experience than a drawback. "Amazing onsen! I booked a room with a private open air onsen for end of March 2024 and was blown away at how nice my room and the entire hotel was. The facility was impeccable, food was good, staff was super nice and my room was so great. I was only there two nights and regret not staying longer. I will definitely come back to this onsen. "I loved everything! It was so nice and cozy and the staff were very friendly. The onsens were amazing! Very convenient location and walkable everywhere. Definitely recommend! Only thing is that the staff doesn’t speak english too well so they told me the free ramen was at 1030 so I missed it the first night. It says it’s until 10:30pm but they only open for 30 minutes (opens at 9pm and last call is at 930pm) so I don’t think that part is super clear. Besides that everything was amazing! "
