Wow this was so much better than we expected. Great value for money for an excellent hotel in the middle of old town. Amazing Hida beef restaurant and sake brewery right across the street too. Love the japenese minimalistic interior

I want to give a review of this property but I know everyone's experience may be different(I hope not). This property was just outstanding! I have never been to a hotel property like this, ever! The building itself is beautiful, built with what I suspect to be local wood accents. The rooms are lovely! Beautifully set up and very clean. After all that, it now turns to the service that was given to me by the staff.... Which was absolutely astonishing! The staff managing the hotel itself were the kindest ive experienced here in Japan. Words could not discribe how pleased I was with they're service. To be fair, it could have been that not very many people were staying at the same time I was, I think about 4-6 other rooms were booked, by what I was told by the staff. But through my experience, we were blessed to have been treated the way they treated us. They made several reservations for us with out even asking, we just told them what we had planned for the day or the next day and they would go out of their way to accommodate us and assist us with those plans. They even assisted us by planning the best route to see the town of Takayama. We never abused them by having them do everything for us but they took upon themselves to treat us the way they did. Offered to bring us drinks, snacks to our room. Which brings me to the amenities of the property. Great hot public bath, free sake tasting, and free beer and other drinks It was just a truly great experience.

Very good location and nice hotel. The room is spacious and onsen nice. Breakfast is simple compared to other hotel buffet. Many activities and at night feee drinks and sake.

Wonderful stay
Excellent location and service. The hotel is pretty new and located in the middle of the beautiful old town. You can just walk to just about anything you want to see in Takayama.

The Staff was extremely friendly and made you feel welcome from check in to check out. Love the nightly free sake and beer tasting. They provided free Japanese breakfast to each paid guest. Hotel location is ideal. Close to restaurants and Station. They have a coin operated laundry and bath onsite. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Lovely hotel in old part of town close to everything. Modern, elegant building, great service. Free sake tasting and happy hourNo tv in room but certainly wasn't missed by us.
