“Out of town but close”

A fantastic hotel on the edge of new suburbia but approached through the scattered vineries etc. of the Swan Valley. Great facilities, great service in the bar/cafe. The only let-down was the over bureaucratic and irritatingly slow restaurant service - never have so many achieved so little! - but when it arrived the food was great.

“Great except for the matress..”

Well I was pleasantly impressed with the resort. The view outside the room and the general layout of the resort was great. Felt comfortable and relaxed. Weaknesses..... the matress was far too soft giving me a sore back, the jets at one end of the spa wern't working, food was a bit pricey for the quality provided. If I had been staying for any length of time these things wold have really bothered me. I would go there again but would not put up with the inconveniences.

“not up to my expectation for the way it was described”

the grounds are well maintained the foyer is lovely and welcoming. Although going to the rooms it is a all different story. The corridors are very dark especially at night time. Because they are opoen to the grounds it is always dirty of leaves and whatever the wind decides to blow in Food trays l from room service were left for a very long period of time, attracting crawling animals from the gardens. I belive that 24hour room service should not consist of already made sandwiches with very limited fillings after 10pm with no shops or restaurants close by, it was bed-time with no dinner for travellers that arrive and check in late, maybe this should be said to the guest at time of booking.
