Bathed in natural light from the glazed ceiling, the Park Hotel's 10-story atrium houses a garden-like lounge area with semi-private conversation clusters of brown and white leather chairs separated by potted trees, pillar-style lighting, and criss-crossing walkways of wood. “Perfect For Business”
Very good hotel for business travelers. Right in the shiodome, connects underground to multiple train and Subway lines as well as other buildings so endless food choices. Direct train to the Big Site. Only thing missing was a fitness center and to be honest I never asked if they have any agreements with the adjoining hotels (my way of being lazy).
“4-Star Rating Accurate!”
Excellent accommodations well located in metropolitan Ginza district. Immaculately kept subway system stops below hotel for easy access to all train lines. Walking distance from famed Tsukiji Fish Market, a must-see experience, and in immediate proximity to shopping and restaurants galore. Hotel lobby sports 10-story atrium and gracious staff. Rooms were true to website photos - clean, crisp, well-kept and accommodating (free internet and lots of bath products). Beautiful views. We travel a lot and have high expectations that hotels live up to their website promises - this one does. If you are looking for Western style rooms with strong Japanese influences, I highly recommend this hotel. Would return in a heartbeat.
“A really good hotel in the business area”
Great location for eating out, quiet but with great transport links to all areas of Tokyo. Really impressed with it. Staff were friendly and very helpful. An excellent hotel.
“The views make it”
This hotel is close to the upmarket district of Ginza and is easily accessible to the rest of Tokyo - an ideal spot for a relaxing break. The best aspect of this hotel however, aside from the sizeable rooms (by Tokyo standards at least) and the helpful attitude of the staff, is the stunning view over Tokyo offered from the huge windows in your room. It's a sight you will not easily forget.
“Excellent hotel in walking distance to the Ginza shopping district.”
My hotel room was clean and complete with all amenities expected from a 4 star hotel. The only issue I had was with their high speed internet connection in that it was one of those rare configurations that did not work with my company's VPN; however, the connect fee was already included in the room cost.
“Wonderful hotel.”
Loved this hotel and will stay here next time I am in Tokyo.
“An ultra modern hotel geared for English-speaking travellers”
The hotel, being located on the 25th fl. and up, offers excellent view of Tokyo; its modern and sleek design of furniture and lighting is worth compromising for the moderate size of the rooms. The building is part of a metropolis of ultra-modern buildings (mostly in the media business) that are all connected by skywalks and its own passageway to the trains. It's a world of its own, yet very convenient to local coffee shops, food stores, and the Tsujiki fish market! I would definitely come back to this hotel.
“Good Location, Good Value, Small Room”
Room was on the small side, but given the price (early bird deal), cannot complain. In all other respects, the hotel was great--good location, modern, clean, excellent service and staff, etc. Not sure you want to eat in the hotel, but in lower levels of hotel and surrounding buildings (connected by walkways) is a wide variety of good restaurants, convenience stores, etc.
“Great Hotel in Tokyo”
As a solo-1st time traveler to Tokyo and Japan, I booked this hotel because of the good reviews on Expedia. It soared above my expectations. The hotel is located very close to the Ginza District and has outstanding access to the Tokyo Metro Subway and the JR lines. I used the subway and train as my exclusive means to get around Tokyo from this hotel. A limousine bus from the airport will take you to the hotel, cabs are readily accessible, and the hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Much of the staff speak English -- and the concierge helped me plan my trip to Kyoto. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and I had a beautiful view of Tokyo. This is an oustanding 4 star Tokyo hotel. At its price, it is a great deal. I would definitely stay there again.
“Terriffic Tokyo Hotel”
The Park Hotel Tokyo (not to be confused with the Pary Hyatt) is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo, or anywhere for that matter. The service was absolutely top notch and the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Free high speed internet, LCD TVs (with CNN and BBC), and the rooms are big (by Japan standards). I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the south Ginza area. As of Oct. 2006, there is a lot of road construction in the area so its a bit of a mess getting there by taxi, but that doesn't change the quality of the hotel.

Ginza, Tokyo, Japan: High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
