“You must experience this hotel”
I will definitely return to the Peninsula. We stayed 10 days. The room was so comfortable it was a lovely retreat. Service was impeccable. Staff were gracious and remembered our names!! The bar/lounge was a favorite with the stunning view of Tokyo, even from the restroom. Easily accessible convenience stores and subway entrances made our stay more smooth.
“Best equipped Guest room ever...”
The Peninsula is perhaps not the best hotel I have ever stayed in (although it is without doubt excellent), but it certainly provides the greatest range of facilities and technology in the guest rooms that I have ever seen - every bell and whistle you could want in a room is provided, from all those which you may have come to expect in a quality hotel to some which you may not - a personal printer/fax/scanner, a quality espresso machine, "mood" lighting scenes, full spec AV kit; even down to small things - electric sockets which take UK 3 pin plugs (or any other for that matter). It is easy to spend the first hour or two just pushing buttons to find out what everything does! A daily supply of fruit and occasional small gifts add to the pleasure. Add to that impeccable service and a great spa, and the hotel has to be very highly recommended. If I have a criticism, it is perhaps the use of the lobby as a restaurant - walking in feels a bit like intruding through a busy restaurant to reach the reception desk hidden at the back rather than entering the otherwise grand lobby of a very grand hotel.
“The Hotel and services are impecable...”
The Hotel and services are impecable. They pay a lot of attention to the most minute details. Great place to stay, for buisness or pleasure. Well located, direct subway entrence underneath.
“AWESOME 10++++++++++++++++”
New hotel with huge rooms that are totaly automated. The bath and toilets are amazing. Huge closet and great view. Service is impeccable, (its Japan). I would stay there again and actualy will be going back. Love Japan and this hotel. Highly recommend. Great central location.
“Tokyo's best hotel”
The hotel was very new and beautiful. The deluxe room was extremely spacious for Tokyo. The bathroom and the dressing room were better than homes. The service was also outstanding.
“If all hotels in Tokyo are like this....”
Quite simply this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in, and great value for money for the quality, location and the fact that this is Tokyo! We visited Washington DC in Nov 08 and were disappointed in the Mandarin Oriental, not up to the standards we were expecting. However at the Peninsula, every single member of staff said hello or welcome back , you could use a complimentary Rolls Royce to drop you off at the train station in a morning, and the 24th Floor bar 'Peter' was absolutely stunning. Tokyo is expense (glass of wine 10 pounds), but if you are going to visit then the Peninsula is well worth the money
“Great Hotel”
Had all the amenities for kids and toddlers. Step stool, daiper garbage can and soaps...room was great size for Tokyo
“Very impressed.”
Will make The Peninsula Tokyo my hotel of choice when travel to Japan next time. The hotel is very well maintained and service is just great. Hotel is in good location: close to JR station, the Emperor's Palace, Ginza and Tokyo Station.
“penisula Tokyo”
We travel around the world alot. Stayed in many 5 star and this rates among the best! I have stayed in Peninsula in NY and Hong Kong. This might have been overall most gratifying.
“Exceptional Hotel”
My room at the Peninsula (a "Deluxe Room" on the 22nd floor) was without doubt the best equipped and fitted room I have ever experienced in a five star hotel - every amenity that you can think of, with superb views (but I may have been lucky with the view). The spa and pool are fabulous and the amenities faultless. The service was also exceptionally good - although to my mind it was slightly more impersonal and less friendly than for example, Four Seasons excellence. Nonetheless, don't hesitate to book this hotel - I was very impressed.

Area:
Ginza, Tokyo, Japan: High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
