"The place was very clean and felt newly renovated inside, which made for a comfortable stay.
The downside was that an alarm was going off throughout the night. I could hear it from halfway down the second floor hallway found source by reception desk, and it seemed like there was no staff available to handle the issue or respond to emergencies."
"The chalet itself was ok, but the dishes were dirty.
The manager did not tell us there is a boil water advisory. When we asked later after seeing the interior health sign, he told us to just run the water for three to five minutes and we would be fine. We were not provided with bottled water.
We chose this location for the pool and included breakfast. Both closed by interior health due to not meeting the safety requirements. When we asked about breakfast, the manager said they are doing renovations. No voucher or packaged breakfast was offered.
The grounds were unkempt with garbage strewn along the side of the main building. The "resort" seemed to be occupied by long term tenants with the fronts of units filled with garbage, broken vehicles and general mess.
The tenants beside our unit seemed to be using a mind altering substance, swearing and loudly arguing outside our cabin. We were not comfortable allowing our pre teen age children to play outside.
We wanted to like this place, but the title and advertised amenities (complete lack thereof) are blatantly misleading. As well, the manager did not respect our safety through the water advisory, tenants onsite and cleanliness of the property."
"Good stay for the price. Book a top floor room if you can. There is no sound dampening between floors. We could hear every door opening and every footstep of the person above us."
"Unfortunately as soon as I walked in the room I found hair on the floor, damp towels and a cigarette butt ontop of the fire place. With spending almost $200 for a single night i would expect cleaner. And with paying through this site they said they were unable to give me any amount of refund."
