"5 stars for hotel front desk team, especially John, who insured this special occasion with fantastic view was assured when we booked. Plus he ensured our reservation couldn't be moved to another room type or floor. Really thoughtful! Great views!!! Comfy bed. Staff great. Only glitch was poor soundproofing from suite next door with very loud pair of young kids. Turns out the front desk team would have moved us after the first night if we had let them know earlier about the noise next door. Good info. Fantastic location with tons of restaurants, wine bars, cafes, parking garages (across Kearney from hotel had ok rate, easiest access). Quick walk few blocks to major bus, cable cars, few more to BART. Awesome home base."

"The hotel location is perfect, close to everything in Union Square. However the guest overnight parking is $67 which is outrageous. I don’t care how expensive the city is. They should at least give a discount to the guest."

"Was difficult to find close affordable parking. Tried calling the hotel to ask where I could find parking and the entire system is automated with no option to reach the front desk. Went inside to ask and the only staff member there was new and didn’t know the area at all. The closest lot is $40 a day and about a seven minute walk. The room was just ok for the price. The TV didn’t work, it kept turning off and on. The walls are pretty thin, we could hear the man next to us snoring at night and other people flushing their toilets. "

"The room was cold,bed hard skimpy blanket.....flights of stairs no elevator but the the staff very friendly...I would not stay again,it was an emergency I paid two nights but stayed one and did not ask for a refund checking out promptly at 1130 am"

"There was plenty of parking available when we arrived on Thursday and I had no concerns about the safety of the car. When we checked in the staff noticed that I had booked a room with a single bed for my sister and I and let us take a room with two beds at no extra charge which was so nice! Our room had a view of the ocean and it was clean with comfortable beds, a fridge, and microwave. The location is great since you can walk right onto the beach or to Golden Gate park, and the N Judah line stops right across the street. I would highly recommend for a reasonably priced and comfortable stay in San Francisco! "
