"An elegant hotel, quite grand and very nicely decorated to fit the period of the building. Staff were very helpful. Good location, few bars and places to eat nearby. About 15 minutes walk to the busier parts of the city. Loved the library on the to floor and balcony. Honesty bar a nice touch. Room and bathroom very spacious. "

It would have been great if we could have shampoo and conditioner, and if your stay is longer than 3 days, to have an additional towel change included in the hostel cost (not extra). Very clean when one of the people would check out."

"Old style hotel with historic architecture, one block from the waterfront. Staff were all excellent and on point. The building is from a bygone era, so entries, stairwell, and lighting are not the most modern, particularly if you are expecting a Marriott or Hilton with a Starbucks in the lobby. Great service, outdoor area, restaurant, and clean."
